![]() I haven't played starfinder since launch and kind of want to come back to the game, maybe planning and running a campaign for my friends in quarantine. I kind of remember when the game started people were concerned that the envoy (probably my favorite of the core classes) and solarian were a little underpowered compared to the other classes. Now I'm wondering, with some time for things to shake out and a few more classes since launch, how does everything stack up? Do classes compare well to each other and if not are there any good fixes for this? ![]()
![]() If I feint before using double slice and only get a normal success then how does this play out? Do my attacks count as one for taking advantage of the fate similarly to how they count as one for utilizing my multiple attack penalty and applying resistances and weaknesses or is the enemy only flat footed against one attack? If the latter than do I choose which weapon or is at always the main hand one? ![]()
![]() JetSetRadio wrote: Skills at "6 + Int" are usually reserved for classes with a lower BAB bonus. Like Operatives and Envoys. My 2 cents. I don't think there are enough classes yet to have much of a precedent. Envoy and Operative both have 8 skills per level and the only class with 6 per level is the spell casting mystic. Pathfinder has some precedent for full BAB classes with 6 skills per level (ranger, slayer, or vigilante with the right specialization) so it's possible we could get official classes with full BAB and 6 skills per level in the future. With that being said, a class with full BAB and the extra utility of two skills per level should probably be a clear step behind soldier and solarian in terms of combat ability. ![]()

I'm not finding the link you mentioned, the scroll of files ends at "Multiclass Adept.html" and the actual bottom of the page just has "Sign in|Recent Site Activity|Report Abuse|Print Page|Powered By Google Sites". I guess I should mention I'm looking for a specific rogue/sorcerer hybrid that gained sixth level spellcasting, a delayed bloodline ability and sneak attack progression, and some bonus abilities to complement illusions. ![]()
![]() I'm planning some adventures in which the PCs rescue the populace of a destroyed town from a caravan of hobgoblin slavers but continue to bring them to the slavery practicing port town as refuges. From there they'll need to gather allies and use the influx of destitute people to overthrow the local government and install a new regime loyal to the quest giver who is in reality a succubus playing a long game to create a portal into the material plane for her master Socothbenoth, essentially a second worldwound. Ostenso in Cheliax seems like the best city, it's close to goblin infested Isger as well as the politically hostile Andoran which serves as a good point of origin for the hobgoblins' captives. Having the PCs take down a piece of the diabolic Chelish government will divert attention away from the patron's own fiendish agenda and makes a bit of sense when you consider that Socothbenoth is the demon lord of pride and probably couldn't resist the chance to humiliate the devils in their material plane stronghold. With that in mind I'm looking for any published material that covers Ostenso in more depth. I've read the description in the Inner Sea World Guide but it only gives so many details. I also looked into a companion book called Cheliax, Empire of Devils but it doesn't seem to cover Ostenso in much detail. |
