I really like the Argopelter, I like the fact that it is a real mythical creature. They do not seem sinister to me, more like harrasing spider monkeys. As I read it I thought that possibly they are really friendly to Druids and help protect Druid protected glades from outsiders. As I read the description I imagined a horde of theses little creatures throwing things from the trees and anoying the crap out of the fighters because they won't bring the fight to the ground and go toe to toe.

I would not impose this limitation, rather as the DM I would play/treat them according to their abilities. With a score of 9 being average, If a fighter has an 8 Charisa, then is is below average looking (the hot chick will not go for him, maybe he has scars and a broken nose), he is below average in dealing with people (gruff and short tempered), is a below average leader (probably not a good party leader). Make them play their scores and they will learn to respect even the ones that they think do not count.

Last Friday we started the Second Darkness Campaign. Two of the party members burned Lubber Town to the ground purly by accident. I think they felt guilty for killing a few innocent folks and making a whole section of people homeless. Oh well.

This Friday looks like it will be lost of fun. The players are all very excited about this adventure path. One of them set up a Yahoo Google Group allowing us to post files, schedule sessions on the calendar and share photos. one of the players keep a journal of the gaming sessions and posts it to the Yahoo Group.

I have a great group and I too am excited about where this adventure path is going to take us.

I would also like to say thanks to all of those who have posted stuff to the Second Darkness Message Board. I found much of it very useful and loaded with great advice.
