my player was battleing a yellow musk creeper zombie on the top of a ship while the others were sleeping. At the end of the battle the sleeping players woke up. the player battling the zombie drops to zero hp. the sleeping players double move up to the battle and are adjacent to the zombie and downed player. The zombie wants to coupe de graw the downed player who is helpless (he has a con of 15)..the zombie has the highest initative....so its a auto crit that will definatley reduce him to below -15.....so thats it for that player???

Can you guys help? Im having trouble finding in the core book where it tells the DC's for scrolls wands and staves. Also can anyone who is trained use "use magic" device to activate scrolls or wands?

My PCs are on a ship sleeping below dock. One Pc is on watch and is going to get attacked. Is there any chance of them waking up? Perception check maybe? If the Pc getting attacked starts yelling what should the percep DC be? Is there a better way to handle this whole situation?

Hey everyone, in the last couple adventures I ran there are a couple of different instances where there are DCs with nothing next to it (fort, ref,will). What do I do? Is it just a 20 roll to beat the dc?
