Hey guys, the boards must have not gotten this post last time. But, due to RL reasons, Im going to have to drop this game. Im sorry guy, but it's been great. I'm sure you can find another DM to run it for you
Hey guys. It looks like the boards wiped this post last time, but I dont think I will be able to continue running this game due to RL reasons. Im sorry guys, but It's been fun
He shakes himself furiously to remove Brun's hand from his shoulder. "Why am I being perceived as the bad guy here? A goblin dug in to my kids closet and ate my dog! I didn't hide it here, it found it's own way in." He starts getting louder as he rambles on, but then calms himself. "Look, thanks for getting rid of that thing. Now, if there are no more questions, I'd like for you all to leave."
Looks like I screwed up placement. Would it be helpful for me to open up editing so you can place yourselves?
He doesn't look amused a Tekkis's joke. "We didn't know it was here till it pounced on the dog. How it got here, I'll never know."
Tekkis mauls the beast with his weapon, its now lifeless body falling to the ground.
The father stops before hitting the grease spell, shooting a strange look at Ceinwynn
I rolled init at the top of this page Bridgette.
Flit's arrow hits Kressle hard, but she is still up. She points at him, and runs towards him, but the stream slows her down. Both remaining bandits let arrows fly towards Flit
Attack 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Attack 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Damage 1: 1d8 ⇒ 8
Damage 2: 1d8 ⇒ 5
Both arrows fly wide, missing Flit
Bydar, your up. Your all back at the X
The bandit is caught completely unaware, and the arrow knocks him out cold, landing in his chest
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
1d20 ⇒ 12
A bandit towards the back of the camp screams out, in a female voice, "Were under attack! Find them and kill them!"
Happs overhears the shout. "That's Kressle. Stay away from her axes." He pulls out his sword
Go ahead and act in initiative order that I rolled earlier. Flit first
"I've been here a long time." Happs speaks up "Trust me, it's a boring job. I doze off more than once while on watch."
Happs pulls a shortbow with some arrows off of his back and hands them to Flit. "Just be careful with them, ok?"
I just need to send Flit a text and he will be back. Yay for IRL friends. But do you think we need more people? If you think we do, I can bring in a couple extras
Tekkis searches the room, finding nothing out of the ordinary, untill he reaches the closet. A goblin stands outside of his whole, choping down on a dead dog. He screams and pounces Tekkis
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4
But his swing is far off
Hey guys, Im switching internet providers at my house, so I should be good to go by tommorow afternoon.
Are we still wanting to continue? I want to know who is still interested
Hey guys, Im switching internet providers at my house, so I should be good to go by tommorow afternoon.
Spectrum, it might be :( Ill see if everyone is interested in continuing
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Even with Flit stepping on a squirrel and it's screech, the bandit is completely oblivious, that is, until there is a rapier shoved in his throat. No scream comes out as Flit's rapier obviously punctured his windpipe
"Oh... She says, growing a concerned look on her face. "Rrrright this way." She leads you into the room. The father looks at his wife, whispers to her, puts his hand on Tekkis's shoulder.
"Hope you got this one big man." And they both flee the room
State actions/make rolls etc
1d20 ⇒ 13
He stand around, not noticing anything. He seems to pull out a cloth and polish a dagger
Bandit Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 12
The bandit at the front of the camp doesnt notice anything
The door opens, and a child is seen cowering in the corner, his mother standing next to him. "Can I help you?
It's 5 in the morning, and there is very little activity
The Sheriff points you all to the right house.
Upon arrival at the house, the door is shut, but a scream can be heard from inside, from either a child or a high voiced woman
Bydar: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Bridgette: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Flit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Raxus: 1d20 ⇒ 11
Bandits: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Init Order

Bydar
Raxus
Bridgette
So tell me how you plan on attacking? Just getting init out of the way
"Well, there is one thing I would like you all to look at, if you don't mind. Supposedly, a goblin got into a house yesterday, and has been hiding in the house. The residents are scared, and we haven't found anything. Maybe you, with your magic, can find them."
"It would certainly help." The elf replies to Gene.
The sheriff mentions, "Brun, I'm concerned the goblins may be coming back again. I'd like you and your friends, if they don't mind, to help stay and keep order while we clean up from the attack yesterday."
You all rotate through watch throughout the night, and it passes by uneventfully. Happs leads you to the edge of the camp.
Getting map up as we speak
"It's about an hours walk from the town, in the woods to the south"

The Sheriff immediately notices the group. "Here they are Shalelu, the group that I told you about earlier that helped fend of the raid. This is Shalelu" He says introducing the Elf woman. "She's an unofficial member of the town guard." She rolls her eyes at the last statement. Mayor Devernin is present at the meeting as well, but has been keeping quiet
She looks at the group, and begins speaking
“Belor’s told me of your work against the goblins—well done.
I’ve dedicated the last several years of my life to keeping
them from causing too much trouble around these parts, but
they’re tenacious and fecund little runts. Like weeds that bite.
She shudders a bit at the end of the statement
“Anyway, there’s five major goblin tribes in the region, and, traditionally,
they’re pretty good at keeping each other in line with intertribal squabbles
and the like. Yet from what I’ve been able to piece together, members of
all five tribes were involved in the raid on Sandpoint. A fair amount of the
Mosswood tribe goblins I dealt with yesterday were already pretty beat up,
and there was a lot of chatter about the ‘longshanks’ who killed so many
of them. Now that I’ve met you, it seems obvious from their descriptions
who they were talking about. Seems like you’ve made an impression.
Gasping for breath after speaking so fast, she continues
“In any event, the fact that the five tribes are working together disturbs
me. Goblin tribes don’t get along unless they’ve got something big
planned, and big plans require big bosses. I’m afraid that someone’s moved
in on the goblins and organized them. And judging by these recent raids,
what they’re organizing seems like bad news for all of us.”

Act 2, scene 2, The Sheriff's Office
The group walks down the main road, headed towards the Sheriff's office. They get the same admiring looks from the people of Sandpoint that they did yesterday. Gossiping women chatter on as they pass, children look up in admiration. They arrive at the Office, the Sheriff is talking to an elven woman standing in the doorway
So what is the current plan?
So whats the plan guys? I'm fine with whatever you want to do.
The group wakes up and mingles with each other during the morning. The tavern is fairly populated this morning, the buzz of the town being the events of the previous day. One particular piece of gossip says that a goblin is hiding in one of the local homes.
The whole house was basically home brewed. Not exactly in the book, but oh well, I enjoy a challenge.
Well, going any further will require a forced march unless you rest for the night, remember that. Im ok with whatever you guys wanna do
Hey guys, I'll have a post up soon. You went so far off the AP's suggested path I need a bit to finish the final details of what I have planned. Thanks for waiting up on me. I'm still kind of new to the role of DM, so thanks for bearing with me
The previous night:
Tekkis finds the sheriff and hands over the goblin prisoner
"They go that way." It points its nose west. With that he heads back into the woods, dragging his kill from earlier with him. The party heads out the direction the wolf told them too. Happs speaks up when they get through a patch of forest "It's getting late, we should stop and rest for the night."
Well, it is getting to be rather late in game. You might want to hand over the goblin and turn in for the night. Just my opinion
Im a little confused as to whats the plan right now to be honest. What is the party doing right now?
"Go on then. Group of tall men pass through some time ago. They all wear matching neck thing, they kill one of my pack."
The wolf gets close, about 30 feet from the party. To everyones suprise, it speaks up. "Why tall creatures near my kill?"
The wolf looks up, then around, then fixates on the group. It approaches slowly. Looking into it's dark red eyes, it shows signs of intelligence.
Knowledge Nature to identify
I am sorry for my absence, school did me in for a little bit, but I should be good to go again.
Happs leads the group south, still headed towards the Bandit camp. Something can been seen in the distance on the plains
1d100 ⇒ 99
An unusually large wolf can be seen feasting on a recent kill of an elk. He has yet to notice the party
Happs gives a look at Flit, then turns the other way. "You all coming or what?"
Yes, he still leads if you choose to follow his directions
If you move on, where to?
Alright, found the book.
Brun and Ceinwynn head out towards the house. They happen across Tekkis with the goblin tied up walking with him.
O how I love role playing goblins
