If my witch melds with his familiar (through the spell, if that is relevant), can he still use his hexes?

Text from spell:
While possessing your familiar, you can communicate with it telepathically. You keep your Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma, level, class, base attack bonus, base save bonuses, alignment, and mental abilities. The familiar’s body retains its own Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, hit points, natural abilities, and automatic abilities.

Thanks!

The description for hexing doll includes the following:

"...Alternatively, if the doll is stuffed with the hair of a creature, any witch holding the doll increases the DC of her hexes by +2 when using the hexes against that creature..."

So, if my witch character were to cut some hair off the party's human paladin, Jim, and stuff it in a hexing doll who could it affect?

Obviously Jim, but it could affect all humans?

And if my witch were to purchase a hexing doll (my DM hasn't said I can't) then how would it work?

Thanks.

I'm a recent transplant from the west coast (Seattle), and I need to find a gaming group! I'm hoping to find a casual weekly game where the emphasis is on character development and in general just enjoying the game and the company around the table.

I've been gaming for about 30 years (yeah, I'm old) with most my experience in D&D until my last group decided to switch to Pathfinder.

If anybody has an game table with an open chair please let me know.

Thanks,

Michael

Last night, my barbarian failed his fort save vs a ghoul and was paralyzed. The next round, I asked the GM if I could rage to free myself. The +2 bonus to the fort save from the additional constitution was enough to make my original save good so he let me do that.

Just thought I'd see what the community opinion was on this.

During our game last night our group acquired a tiny magical knife that automatically returns. Not much use to any players (all human-sized), but it would be fun to let my monkey familiar get busy with it.

So, can a normal monkey familiar use a throwing knife? Or would I need to take some feats to make that possible?

Thanks,
Cule
