Hello crew and welcome to what I hope will be a very fun campaign! Due to how important tactics and cover mechanics are in Starfinder, we'll be playing using maps on R20. This will not affect the posting expectation of 1 per day minimum, it will just help keep track of everything. The game has Starfinder character sheets preloaded as well, so if you'd like to track your sheet there let me know and I can assign one. Keeping your own PDF is also acceptable as long as I have a copy to reference! https://app.roll20.net/join/12527592/8qwuvw
As the title states, I'm interested in running a PBP campaign set in the traditional Pact Worlds setting leading into the upcoming Drift Crisis hooks. I'd likely pull inspiration from some of the adventure paths and scenarios, but the overarching narrative I'm thinking of would be homebrew. My aim is to tailor the direction of the story based on what everyone is wanting to do. And in terms of sourcebooks, anything first party is on the table. I would love to play via voice, but due to my work schedule a couple posts a day is typically all I have time for. If interested, please reply with the following: -Name
Hi everyone! I'm currently working on moving a couple of my favorite races into Starfinder, and am hoping to get some feedback for whether they are balanced so far (never done this before). I admittedly copied and pasted for the most part while altering the numbers a bit, but I tried to compare each of these to a similar race that is already present in the setting. Kobold Hit Points: 2 HP Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Dex, +2 Intelligence, -2 Strength
Kobolds are Small Creatures Kobolds have a base speed of 30 feet Average Height: 3 - 3.5 Feet Average Weight: 25-30 Pounds Racial Traits: Darkvision Dragon-Scaled Some kobolds are hatched with scales of such vivid color that their connection to a particular sort of chromatic dragon seems undeniable. Whether this coloration is just a quirk of a stray egg or a trait shared by all the members of a tribe, these kobolds gain a resistance that makes them especially suited to work alongside dragons matching the color of the kobold’s scales. Black-scaled and green-scaled kobolds with this racial trait gain acid resistance 5. Blue-scaled kobolds with this racial trait gain electricity resistance 5. Red-scaled kobolds with this racial trait gain fire resistance 5. White-scaled kobolds with this racial trait gain cold resistance 5. This racial trait replaces the armor racial trait. Crafty: Kobolds gain a +2 to Crafting checks when setting up traps or makeshift obstacles. Kobolds also gain a +2 racial bonus to perception. Perception, Stealth and Profession (int) are always class skills. Prehensile Tail Your tail is especially flexible and strong, so you’ve learned to use it for both movement and simple tricks. You gain a +2 racial bonus on Acrobatics and Climb checks, and you can use your tail to draw a hidden weapon as a move action instead of as a standard action. This racial trait replaces the armor racial trait. DnD 5th edition style Firbolg Hit Points: 6 Ability Score Modifiers: +2 Strength, +2 Wisdom, -2 Intelligence Firbolg are considered Medium humanoids with the subtype of Firbolg. Firbolg have a base speed of 30 feet Average Height: 7-8 feet tall Average Weight: 240-300 lbs • Firbolg Magic. You can cast Detect Magic and Disguise Self with this trait, using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability for them. Once you cast either spell, you can't cast it again with this trait until you finish a long rest. When you use this version of disguise self, you can seem up to 3 feet shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves. • Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. • Speech of Beast and Leaf. You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.
