Alright i saw the addit. sources.. only maw and claw? or is that some expression. Cause if they are all legal, im snagging large limbs. But thats ridiculously overpowered.:) like 2 bastards= 2d8+4 and 2d8+2 each turn at +0. but dont post about how its not optimized. I have another thread about that and its settled. Crefar
As i said, Aelryinth, i will leave it to the dice. If it does horribly, i wont bother. or i will use a light weapon in my other hand. but i really would love to see this do alright. the double sword IS the most boring thing ever. and since im tiefling now, not tengu, im not proficient with everything. I have to choose a deity with the favored weapon i want. Crefar/Primus
Imbic, the katana.. eh. I just am a person who likes the way things look. And you know this guy is gonna be dual wielding(this was the tengu inquisitor). So bastard swords look way more epic. I do understand 5%(10% with keen) better critical chance is great. But 1d10 instead of 1d8 and the look is why not. and yah, forgot about deities thing. going with ragathiel.
Hey Paizo people, I'm making an inquisitor who uses a bastard sword, and a race that was proficient with it, but am thinking of going tiefling(oni-spawn) for more effective ability scores. Now i cant use a bastard sword, and i want to use it one handed. So, i need proficiency with it. Should i burn a feat on it, or is there a better way? I dont want the heirloom trait thing, kinda dumb after a couple levels. Help me figure this out. Thanks
