Ok thinking about the situation here is what I am thinking about telling the players. "While Ironborn do not sleep they are not capable of working or playing nonstop. While it is concievable they could work up to 10 hours, when they take a break they must rest an additional hour for a total rest of five hours. Working additional hours beyond 10 requires a Fortitude save DC12 +the extra hours worked". Not sure yet about the negative effects if the save fails. What do you think?

I am running a campaign in which the players are all Ironborn, so far so good execpt under the racial traits and inside the Ironborn subtype it say's "Ironborn do not need to sleep and are immune to all sleep-based spells, poisons, and other attacks". It all seems fairly simple execpt one of the players wants to craft and thinks because he does not need to sleep he can stand in front of a work bench 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 hours or however long he needs til the item is done. According to the craft rules from what I see you put in a days work which I see as 8 hours. My question is does it break the rules to allow him to craft in the method he wants or should he only be allowed to craft 8 hours rest 4 then go back and craft 8 more hours? Please any help would be appreciated.
