Earhart seemed quite surprised, "What are you sure?! Wait a seat at the table, you don't intend us to put up the full price do you? Hmmm."

Cardona just smiled.

Earhard considered this before saying, "Well now that is interesting, I assume we'd get the money back?"

The normally taciturn Councillor Earhart adds. "We know the filth pours fourth from somewhere within the ziggurat on The Sorcerer's Isle. Fair warning more blood had fallen upon that island's sands than anywhere else in the past twenty years. The last mercenary company lost a hundred men there in a debacle with a leaky boat, frankly I've despaired of this ever getting remedied. If anyone is able to rid us of this pollution we will be extremely grateful."

Glancing at von Urslingen he adds, "You tell em what we agreed."

'It is right next to the library and if liberated we'd have two corners of Podol Plaza and would be in prime position to turf out the monsters." added Earheart who managed to make it sound entirely reasonable

Councillor Earhart who was usually quiet, suddenly spoke up , "Gentlemen, and ladies of course, surely we have more pressing matters? This place is a huge liability for our defences. We must organise a team of craftsmen to brick up the entrance and then press our engineers into devising a more permanent solution..."

Perception DC 18:
Was that a flicker of a sideways glance at Councillor Cardona?

The Councillors start a huddled conversation and you overhear Earhart saying, "The watches have done good work aye, but what of The Ravens? They've been with us since the beginning, I say we reward their loyalty..."

Earhart glances at Cadorna and then Braccio. He shrugs, gets out a coin and flips it. He regards it for a moment, "Heads. I think we should give the Watchers of Dawn a crack at this..."

Cardona visibly yawns and seems to loose all interest in the proceedings.

Perception DC 15:
You noticed Cardona giving Earhart a filthy look before he stopped paying attention.
