Alice was barely standing, and now Miselle was in danger. Given how hard that thing hit, they were both in substantial danger. Securing her focus to let the spirits aiding her to continue ferrying papers up to Az, she races over to a position behind the golem sending a blast of supernatural energy at the creature.

Far more accustomed with the howling of agitated spirits than her companions, Corynne continues her work to save the evidence, her spiritual entourage nonetheless responding to the disturbance, her hair whipping around as if in a windstorm, while a disonnant hum of displeasure rises around her.

"That would probably be best." Corynne said distractedly after a bit. The ghostwhisperer seemed both present and not at the same time, her gaze locked on the shadowy trail, constantly aware of the spiritual disturbances it created.

As the others stand watch, paying attention to the surrounding area, Corynne focuses her breathing, calming both herself and the spirits around her enough to quell the edge of their agitation.

Conjuring up the memories of the dark roiling shadow energy of the Bleak Gate she reaches out into the ether, reaching her senses out for tendrils of that dark energy, feeling for it’s presence in the area. For minutes she is completely still, the air dirt and ground around her increasingly disturbed as her spirits react to the powerful ritual at play.

Okay so this is the Detect Planar Energy spell, right? Just making sure. It says a plane you've been to before so that would either be the Ethereal Plane, whatever we passed through when we had that weird Fey blip, or the weird Shadowman energy I got exposed to when I snooped in the doctor's place and when we fought him.

"The engine grease scent aside, I'm concerned by multiple people having 'uneasy feelings' in the same area. That can often be a sign of spiritual activity or at least something that is agitating local spirits in the area." Corynne mentions, picking up and buttering a piece of toast with a careful deliberateness.

"Of course we'll help her Az, if we can't make things safe for our loved ones...." she trails off, a momentary haunted look passing in her eyes. The stone on her necklace seems to pulse with a glimmer of light for a moment, the young ghost whisperer tilting her head for a moment as if listening to something before a small smile comes across her lips, whatever was bothering her cast aside.

And my touch generating escalating fear effects just lives up to the name "Spooky" could even be that before now physical contact with me can sometimes give people goosebumps if I'm in the wrong mood. heh

I'm thinking I'll see if it can work with Oracle just retooled a bit, dropping Automatic writing since it's pretty useless, for something useful like brain drain, and taking Phantom Touch this level. (in theme with the Ghost touch abilities)

Definitely towards town. I've got a better chance going with Acrobatics over fort but if the consensus is to stay together, I'm fine with it. It seems like pretty much everything we're facing is some sort of undead and all my attacks use negative energy.

Throw everything at them while running. Against the living I can be way more effective, we've got thunder stones, fun types of ammo that can slow down pursuit. If absolutely necessary we'll call Gale but we'll leave that as the nuclear option.

They were always there with her, the entourage of spirits that surrounded her, some helpful or beneficial, others less so, holding onto resentment of their deaths, or just plain bored. That was when things tended to get....difficult.
