"Sounds good. I'll stay with Skazz in case he needs spell support."

Corvin takes a brief look at the half-orc.

"Although I doubt that'll be necessary."

"I'm ready, but do you think we should do anything with Glark first?"

Yes.

"Sure thing."

Casts Detect Magic.

Bluff to make the guard think it was a warding spell: 19+3=22.

"We'll be back, Glark."

"I didn't take one, but I think that it said:

Missing: Our Grand Queen Ileosa's ruby brooch. Presumed stolen. Whoever finds this brooch and returns it to the queen shall receive a reward of 1,200 gold sails. Anyone found to be in the possession of the item and who is not taking it directly to her Majesty shall be punished severely."

"There is a reward-I think it's around a thousand gold-but I'm not sure if it can be returned without making people think that we stole it, rather than those orcs and goblins."

"We picked it up the same place that we found this thing," Corvin points over in Glark's general direction, "We think it's the queen's... there was a pile of ripped-off posters indicating as such. It must have been stolen."

"Anyway, what should we do?"

"That's possible. But then what did cause the city to go insane? And what about that fire, or whatever it was?"

"I overheard people saying that the king was dead..."

"The enchantment seems to be coming from... the Harrow deck?! Huh. As for the other aura, it appears that that orc spellcaster had it... it's gone now."

Corvin launches his magical fist, magically guided by Algret's spell, at the priest (Attack=11 vs. 11. Hits for 4 damage) and the sudden attack startles the orc as the spell hits him in the chest.

Skazz's turn.

Corvin nods to Algret, "Sure. Thanks."

"Sure thing."

Readies Telekinetic Fist.

Whispering: "We're getting closer to both of the auras... but I still can't quite pin down what the one is."

Casts Detect Magic.

"The auras both appear to be coming from behind that door at the end of the hall."

Acrobatics=10.

Casts Detect Magic.

"There are still two magical presences here... one certainly of divination, but I can't pin down the other. They both seem to be coming from directly below us."

Corvin launches another magical fist towards the final bugbear (Attack, with -4 for shooting into a melee=8 vs. 11. Miss.), but he seems to momentarily lose his concentration, and the spell appears to fizzle out of existence before it hit its target.

Corvin nods to Liandra, "Sure thing!" and launches another magical fist towards the severely injured bugbear (Attack vs. Bugbear 3=4 vs. 11. Misses.), but the spell flies off course and slams into the back wall.

This is my replacement alias for Corvin until he shows up, so that I don't keep posting "Corvin does X" under my DM alias. I've slightly tinkered with the layout of the statistics and made one slight tweak that seems to have originally been forgotten, and I've added in the money from the first combat, but otherwise this Corvin is statistically the same as the previous one.
