Backstory
At the start of the Fourth Crusade, a young Cordelia and her parents travelled to Mendev to aid the crusade; they were armorsmiths by trade. Even though times were hard the family did alright for themselves, Cordelia seeing the birth of two younger sisters - Catarina and Cordiana. By the time Cordelia could start helping out in the forge, a devastating attack by a group of demons on their outpost left very few alive. Cordelia and her sisters were lucky to be counted among the survivors, but their parents did not make it. The church of Sarenrae took in Cordelia to initiate her into the priesthood, but her sisters were sent elsewhere.
10 years old and alone, Cordelia found comfort in the warmth of her newfound faith. As the Crusade dragged on, she quickly picked up the tenets of the faith and applied them in untraditional ways. While upholding the ideas of healing and redemption, Cordelia showed a passion for battlefield tactics. She lacked any skill with the scimitar, the traditional weapon of the battle-priests of Sarenrae, instead picking up the Longspear to control her surroundings.
As the Fourth Crusade ended, Cordelia began having increasingly common dreams of the attack that killed her parents, but it would end differently in the dreams. Dawn would rise and cast out the demons. She kept up her training, and helped out on Armasse each year in Kenabres to help instruct in the use of simple weaponry.
Cordelia strives to impress her goddess at every opportunity, and dreams of serving in the name of Sarenrae directly against the Worldwound.
Battlefield Role
Cordelia works to coordinate her allies on the battlefield, and controls enemy movements with her Longspear. She uses her spells to bolster her allies before they meet directly with the enemy, or to heal allies in critical condition.
Advancement
Cordelia will be advanced as a single-class Cleric, taking the Hierophant Mythic Path, potentially dual-pathing into either Guardian or Marshal depending on how events/her personality unfold.
