Tried earlier today to put in an order. Says payment type not fulfilled or stays red. The 3rd step will not accept any of my cards.

Sovereign Court

The Release date for Crown of Fangs has been pushed back again. Deadly Foes release was pushed back a few months as well. Why does this keep happening?

I ask because my gaming group has bought no less than 2 cases a mini release. This time its my turn to do the ordering. We were excited that this coming Sunday we would be putting in our order for minis. Hoping that Mid April we would be seeing them. Now its May. Your killing me smalls. What gives?? :D

Cayden's Crawl 4: Last Adventurer Standing
Feb. 16th-19th in Jacksonville, FL, US

It has been over a year since we dealt with Tancred Desmire and the traitor Venture Captain Thurl. Times have been good for the Society. Much of our work securing supplies before the siege has paid off. Plus with the help of Venture Captain Jorsal and the Starrise Spire Lodge members, we have recovered what was lost during the siege and the supply wagons are nearly loaded. We can begin our trek through the world wound to the Sky Citadel of Jormurdun in less than a fortnight if the last caravan makes it past the Sellen River. Many of my dwarven colleagues can barely stand the wait. So we help with patrols around the city of Nerosyan; at least as much as the knights will allow. Right now I believe having this many Pathfinder Agents wandering is more a nuisance than a boon………………………

Surprisingly enough the weather was our worse enemy. Torrents of acidic rain and blasts of lighting did more to slow our progress than the demons. After the defeat of their generals, many believed we broke their backs. All who know the history of the Worldwound knows that to be a false comfort. The respite will be brief and the abyss: infinite.

Despite this haunting thought, we have arrived! Most of the City is hidden below. Just a single Watchtower Three stories high is all that marks the dwarven city of Jormurdun. None would suspect that a fortress city dwelt deep beneath the Wolfcrags of the Tusk Mountains. The supplies are unloaded and we have secured the Tower Entrance. It is time to delve into the heart of a Sky Citadel.

Are You Ready Pathfinders!?! Jormurdun a waits!!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the lodge
Not an adventurer was stirring, not even those with a Cheliax cause.
Bags of holding were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that a Mythical Elf would bring them new magic to share.

The faction Leaders were nestled all snug in their beds,
(Except for a certain Para countess all dressed in Leather red)
And Drandle behind his desk reading scrolls of lore
Had just settled which Pathfinders he would send for.

When out in the court yard there a rose such a clatter,
Drandle sprang from his desk to see what was the matter.
Away to the window he flew summoning those unlucky few,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

Showed him the growing horde far down below
When, what to his wondering eyes should appear,
But a Large Brutish Man whipping eight vicious dire deer

With Crimson eyes, so lively and quick,
He cast three spells with just a flick of his wrist
Drandle knew in a moment who it must be

More rapid than eagles his undead minions flew,
And he chanted, and summoned, and called these creatures by name!
Drandle did not hear them, but knew them by their growing fame.

As quick as only the undead could fly
They met unexpected resistance and fireballs lit up the sky.
So the Dark Sleigh Rider armed with battle axe and heavy mace,
Pointed down at the main house and made all haste
He smiled knowingly as he descended faster,
This Dark Fiend knew no master

And then jumped from the sleigh in a spinning dive,
He made his acrobatics check DC: 25
I shook my head as I heard the clatter,
Drandle yelled for us and we rose to see what was the matter.

As I drew my blade and my friend her Bow,
Down the south passage is where we would go
There he stood ten feet tall,
Calling out a challenge for one and all!

He was dressed all in Armor, covered in spikes
Armed now with a Wicked battle axe that must be Plus five!
All buffed with plenty of spells,
His eyes twinkled with the power of several hells.
When much to our horror he went for his magical sack,
We all knew right then we had to fall back

After we dove for cover our wizard made a plan
Blast him with lightning and a Crushing Hand!
We charged him then without a thought,
We needed to flank him without getting caught.

He was quick deadly, and resistant to fire
And according to my Knowledge Check he would never tire.
With a move action and a twist of his head,
He brought forth his last minion, Rudolph the Red
Laughing out loud, feeling me with dread
I prayed and used smite, dropping his henchman dead

To our surprise he withdrew to his sleigh,
Eyeing us closely as he slowly made his way
I heard him exclaim as he rode into the night,
“This is not over, Your GM let you off lite!”
Merry Christmas to all and to all good night.

Cayden's Crawl 3: One More Round

Feb 18-21, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL, US

One year later almost to the date, to the far Northeast of Absalom. The hell hymn of corrupted insects almost drowns out the cries of agony from fallen crusaders crying out to you for help. Some are limping back to the main gate screaming for reinforcements.

Ten minutes ago you were in Star Spire Lodge sharing a drink with your fellow Pathfinders and planning the expedition to the new site out in the World Wound. Then Horns, screams and the call for defenders to the walls.

You could see the demons approaching and the retreating patrols. They were not going to make it without help. You and your friends-pathfinders surely, but after Magnimar....your friends.....unspoken Quaff potions to protect you from evil's touch and with a whisper of arcane energy start running to get out of the city to reach the doomed patrol, mean while people were trampling each other to get in.

A lot can happen in ten minutes. Only half of the patrol made it and the screams are maddening. Looking to Nerosyan for hope you see many of the walls being overrun. The World Wound was living up to its reputation. Then blasts of Divine Fire, Pure Energy and Elemental Creatures begin pushing back. Others from the Lodge had joined the fight. You just might make a difference if you can get these men back to the walls. After that we can secure the city, maybe start at the docks. Just one step at a time..........A deafening roar breaks your thought. A twisted mockery of Dragonkind has joined the demon army. HopeBreaker-ravager of whole armies and demons alike.

Its time to make a choice Pathfinder. Where will you begin?

We will be Gaming at a Different Shop each day. Listed below is the Store, Location and Date so you will know where to go and of course call (in case of an emergency)

I was wondering how come the top 8 who did not win are not allowed to ever participate again? These are people who have a passion for pathfinder and some great ideas, but I have heard little from them since they are no longer allowed to submit ideas. I know that On the PFS side of things we have many who have submitted stuff for scenarios and John receives proposals in droves, but this rule I believe limits the talent every year in a very negative way. It's great if you got in the top 4, but heck I'm sure it's a downer if you are in the top 6 and knowing two of you never get a shot at this again.........ever.

I would like to know why they cannot re-enter the following year. This rule makes no sense to me. I have never even made it into the top 32, but it sucks to think if I made it into the top 8 or 6 that's it. I'm out forever more.

Cayden's Crawl 2: Drinking Games

Feb 18-22, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL, US

Again we meet in the back corner of a musty well used tavern. An old man sits in your favorite spot. He beckons your group to have a seat. A half-dozen frothy brews sit in anticipation. He has a story to tell and a need of heroes. This seems familiar, but still..............he has beer. What could it hurt to listen to an old man? Despite the grumbles of bad story plots and dragons you have the urge to hear the old man out. That was a life time ago, as you run down the burning alley you barely recall the conversation. Something about a Key and a Runelord. Just a quick pick up and an easy all paid expense trip back to Absalom. Damned old fool. What was that lying bastard's name? Drendle Drang?? Chanting can be heard above the roar of the flames. Of course they can use magic as you notch an arrow for one last shot at freedom, your fellow pathfinders smile as you turn back down the alley. One last time then...........

We will be Gaming at a Different Shop each day. Listed below is the Store, Location and Date so you will know where to go and of course call (in an emergency)

This is my first time having an issue with any miniatures and I am sure this will come off as unlikely.

Friday at Borderlands one of my towns FLGS I order a Brick of Lost Coast minis and I got to pick up the very sweet Giant Demon. No issues at all.

Today I picked up another brick from Cool Stuff. Got home started opening them after dinner. The miniatures were fine with the exception of a Stone Giant missing his arm with a club. However, that is not my problem.

I got the exact same miniatures. Two different bricks, bought from two different stores. The exact same minis. When I mean the same, I mean I could tell you what the smaller minis were in the box based on the large mini. I am not happy at all. I do not mind getting doubles, but that is far from okay. I get that sometimes you will get repeats, but I have been collecting minis for years and never have I pulled the same box for box.

Maybe I should play the lotto?? Thought you should know about the non-random pull of minis I received.

Mike I want to say thank you for doing a great job here in Jacksonville. You have been a good influence on the gaming community here. Not just you, but your family as well.

Mike has been helping at two stores here in Jacksonville, traveled down south to see and attend Conventions hosted by my fellow VOs in Orlando and has attended Mega-Con. He has helped run at the local CONs here in Jacksonville and any given game day.

He recently earned his 2nd star this past Sunday. He is active on the floridapfs boards and here on the paizo messageboards.

With him stepping into the VL role Jacksonville will be gaining another good Venture Officer.

Welcome aboard Mike!!

The following mornings, however, he awakens injured and lost in the wilderness, never reaching the mysterious destination that drew him from his bed in the night. Something is calling Kalkamedes, something powerful, but unless he can make it safely to the source of his somnambulism, that power will remain a mystery. Yet unfortunately for them, the tribe member responsible for the discovery has already been exiled for the abhorrent crime of writing (which every goblin knows steals words from your head). To remedy this situation, the Licktoads’ leader, His Mighty Girthness Chief Rendwattle Gutwad, has declared that the greatest heroes of the tribe must venture forth to retrieve the rest of the fireworks from a derelict ship stranded in the marsh. In order to prove themselves as the Licktoads’ bravest goblins, the PCs must complete a series of dangerous dares, from swallowing bull slugs and braving the dreaded Earbiter to dancing with Squealy Nord himself. Yet even once they’ve proven their mettle, the adventure is just beginning. For the ship in question is far from uninhabited, and Vorka the cannibal goblin would like nothing better than a few tasty visitors...."

Pathfinder Society Scenairos:

We Be Goblins Too!!!! Tier: 3 3 Tables

"The Licktoads, once the great and fierce goblin tribe in Brinestump Marsh, were defeated by human adventurers! All that remains of the tribe are its four goblin "heroes"—Reta Bigbad the fighter, Chuffy Lickwound the rogue, Poog the cleric of Zarongel, and Mogmurch the alchemist. Homeless and bored, they left their swampy homeland to join the neighboring goblin tribe, the Birdcrunchers.
The good news is that the Birdcrunchers are willing to let the goblin heroes join their tribe.

The better news is that the Birdcrunchers have heard of these four, and want one of them to become their new chieftain.

The bad news is that before the goblins can join, they'll need to endure a series of dangerous and humiliating tests. Very dangerous. Very humiliating.

The worse news is that lately Birdcruncher chieftains have had really short lifespans—they're being killed by the pet fire-breathing boar of a local ogre who wants the Birdcruncher land as his own.

Can the four heroes of the now-dead Licktoad tribe save the Birdcrunchers and, in so doing, become their new leaders?"

4 people marked this as a favorite.

I posted this on the cooridnator board, but did not get a chance til today. I was told by a friend to share this.........I do it with dread. Hope you enjoy it. I was in a egg nog induced haze.

To our surprise he withdrew to his sleigh,
Eyeing us closely as he slowly made his way
I heard him exclaim as he rode into the night,
“This is not over, Your GM let you off light!”
Merry Christmas to all and to all good night.

I want to thank Patrick for all his hard work on the weekly games he has been DMing. He has helped not just grow Hammer Hall's PFS presence with weekly games, but helping myself and the other VLs on Game Days and support at the other locations through Jacksonville. This coming January Patrick and Andrew will be heading to their first convention with PFS in Ganiesville and Mega-Con come March. The pplayers speak highly of him and has helped all our newbies with their Rules-Fu. Thank you for your hard work and making things fun here in Jacksonville.

PS Andrew still has not had a chance to try and take out poor poor Mince. Viva La Goblin!!
