A friend of mine said to me that he didn't like in Pathfinder how there is no limitation where you could put ability enhancing items. I thought that it was clear that physical was belts and mental was headband. But I could not find a ruling on that, though I have found many instances where it says 'designers intended.'

He also said -- he could find not reason why you could not make Bracers of Natural Armor.

Another friend said he did not think you could make 'new magic items.'

What's going on here?

What is the formal definition of 'massive ranged weapons'? It says boulders but are giants rock throwing considered boulders?

Can a flying creature use Spring Attack?

On a related note, I know I can train a mount to air walk and use it in combat, but if so, can I use spirited charge and ride-by attack, since I am not flying but 'walking on air?'

Under fly it says nothing about training a mount for it, so I assume it cannot be done.

It says in the undead write up that they are immune to morale effects.

Do demoralization and other similar effects fall under this category? I have looked by I cannot find a definitive reading.

Thanks for reminding me.

I did read that, but I was confused by the SRD translated write up. I had extracted it mentally from the module.

I am confused by a rakshasa with ten rogue levels's challenge rating.

Having ten class levels and being a ten hd creature, his challenge rating should be 15 (if rogue is not a key class for him) or 20 (if rogue is a key class). Yes the book and the SRD gives him a challenge rating of 14.

Am I calculating wrong?

And wouldn't rogue be a key class for him as rakshasa use their abilities to stealthily confuse their opponent?

EDIT: I edited out the proper name, as my players read this board.
