Hey, Paizo CS.

My 2nd edition order from way back in March is still pending. I'm wondering if that is because I'm at the back end of the que or because of some other factor. With the books dropping in a few days I figured I'd ask.

Thanks for your time and attention.

Woundweal is a poison that makes it harder to heal. One must add +10 to the heal DC to regain HP. To heal via magical spell one must make a caster level check of DC 25 for it to work.

I'm playing an archer with 2d6 sneak attack and 2 bleed via the ninja trick bleeding attack. Assuming I hit my opponent with my woundweal poisoned sneaky bleeding arrow of doom, can they use a base potion of cure light wounds to automatically regain HP and/or negate the bleed?

If no, would they need to make a CL check of 1d20+CL (most potions of CLW use the base CL 1) and in that case would the potion simply not work?

Would they need to use a potion made with a caster level high enough to make the save?

Thanks for any replies in advance.

Spoiler for RotR ahead.

We took out Iron Briar, a judge and one of Magnimar's elite. He was also the leader or a death cult. When we ran into the mayor afterwards and explained the situation to him he said he owes us a favor for not exposing the corrupt Judge working under his nose and embarrassing him or the city.

Another party member asked for the townhouse that Foxglove used to own. We have a home base in Magnimar now which doesn't seem game breaking.

What's a favor worth?

It can't be something that is too good, but I don't want to waste it either.

We have a Half Orc in our game who sometimes gets out of hand in civilized towns such as Sandpoint. He has improved unarmed strike. If he walked into a general goods shop and had some (inane) reason to attack the shop keeper with his fists would that shop keeper or the guards the shop keeper may call be able to tell if the Half Orc intended to kill or not based on whether he attacked using lethal or non lethal damage?

If there is an official ruling on this someplace, I'd love to have it pointed out. Barring that what makes the most logical sense as a house rule?

I'm curious about something. If I wanted to play a Barbarian modeled after the Wolverine comic book character, I have two options.

The first is I can find some manufactured weapon such as a reflavored punching dagger, spiked gauntlets, pata or tekki kagi and get additional attacks based on my BAB at a descending rate. For example as a 15th level barbarian I could make attacks at +15/+10/+5.

alternately I could get natural attacks via the Greater Beast Totem Rage feature and at fifteenth level could attack at +15/+15.

Is that middle attack at +10 and the third attack at +5 better then two +15 attacks?

I can get manufactured weapons made of special materials and make them magic to boot. The Eldritch Claws feat seems to more or less equal that out.

The only advantage I can think to an extra attack or two with manufactured weapons is the chance of rolling a crit. Otherwise the fewer attacks at a higher BAB seems the way to go.

Is there anything I'm missing here?
