Backstory:
Born in a relatively well-to-do family that probably smothered him far too much, Colvet found himself fairly consistently bored, never allowed to venture outside and play with other children his age. However, the one thing he always had access to was books, either from his family's collection or nearby libraries, which he would visit often. In his books, he read of the wondrous and weird, the fantastical and mundane, and through it all, those who were brave and daring enough to venture out to catalogue it all, to find ancient artifacts and bring them back safely. He grew up idolizing the Pathfinder Society, and dreamt of joining their ranks one day. However, he needed something that qualified him to join their hallowed ranks. And so, he studied magic. He pored over dry books on arcane theory, memorized Spell Primers, and when he cast his first spell, the rush was unlike anything he had ever felt before. So, when he finally came of age and his family released him into the world, Colvet immediately set off to find magical items, loving the power that courses through him every time he channels magic, relishing the adventure and savoring the adrenaline that came in a life-or-death situation. He still tries occasionally to apply to the Society, but for now, is content with the thrill of the hunt, of fighting or exploring, and has no intentions of stopping any time soon.
