Glass bottles cannot hold charges, so trying to put a held charge into one would waste the charge.

If you use the reasoning that you are always touching yourself, then by extension, all touch spells you cast will always affect yourself instead of another creature. The held charge is something you control, and the action to use something you control is typically a standard action.

the glass bottle question is not a can it hold the charge, but would the spell be discharged with or without effect due to "accidental touch" after the turn you cast the spell.

in relation to the held touch spells rule:

Holding the Charge: If you don’t discharge the spell in the round when you cast the spell, you can hold the charge indefinitely. You can continue to make touch attacks round after round. If you touch anything or anyone while holding a charge, even unintentionally, the spell discharges. If you cast another spell, the touch spell dissipates. You can touch one friend as a standard action or up to six friends as a full-round action. Alternatively, you may make a normal unarmed attack (or an attack with a natural weapon) while holding a charge. In this case, you aren’t considered armed and you provoke attacks of opportunity as normal for the attack. If your unarmed attack or natural weapon attack normally doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity, neither does this attack. If the attack hits, you deal normal damage for your unarmed attack or natural weapon and the spell discharges. If the attack misses, you are still holding the charge.

What wraithstrike said. Everything in a class that just says "level" refers to only the class itself. Anything that works off of character level will specifically say "character level".

if I would go 5 paladin to get divine bond, then swap out to a non-paladin class, does divine bond continue to grow in power?

"For every three levels beyond 5th, the weapon gains another +1 enhancement bonus..."

does not say its paladin level, and I have a player asking about this currently. at worst I'll make a ruling later, but i have a week to get back to them.
any input would be appreciated =)
