Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Here is what it made me think of... Good memories there.
Earthshaker!

Liberty's Edge

I'd love to see this, even think it could be an adventure path.

There has to be a lost dwarven sky citadel arc in there somewhere.
That would be awesome!

I'm using it for my group. The Narlmarshes just became a much more dangerous place.

In Rivers Run Red, I've substitued Howl of Winds and event 1 for the events Challenge of the Fang, using Howl of Wind as the would-be king of the wolves and the members of the Green Faith in the inn werewolf and vargamours) for the werewolf tribesman. I used the states of the tribesman, just because he was tougher. ;-)

My players are embracing the flavor and feel of it. As outsiders, strangers in a land they now have to rule, they need to learn the existing culture and 'Old Ways', so it makes it easier to introduce the material in bits and pieces.

I'll post more as they move on.

Hmm.. iBooks would not let me upload files, nor would just dragging something in to iTunes (I use a computer, not a Mac).

I did find a free app called calibre that converted the .pdf's to an ebook format and moved the .pdf's up to iBook.

It just takes iBooks forever to render the pages so they are viewable. Going to try using just the chapters of each book next, see if they render faster so it's useable.

So far, I'm very underwhelmed by the iPad. Kinda wishing I spent the $900 on a laptop instead.

I'm trying to use it for Kingmaker, the maps and rulesets and a kingdom sheet in excel, but it's just not working out for me. The excel document won't work, it's too advanced and complex.

Oh well, at least netflix works on it. It's now an expensive portable tv.

Just updated the iPad and it appears that there is no longer an issue with text rendering.
Is there a similar update that solves the problems in Preview?
Apparently not yet...

So, how are you lads getting files up to the iPad? I purchased one just for gaming, and can't seem to get my newly purchased pdf's up to the darn thing to be able to look at them. Do I need to purchase an app to do this? Recommendations? Otherwise, this is now a very expensive paperwieght and I'm going to go buy a laptop to do it.

This feat I designed (and used in several home games) would make a good rage power.

ENLARGED RAGE
You get bigger when you rage.
Prerequisite: Rage class ability.
Benefit: When you rage, you go up a size category. This is treated as a supernatural power,
not a spellike ability.
I'll save the argument and read it later.

I use a wand of enlarge, passed off to another player, for the same affect. It allows me to do my job better, to control the battlefield, with reach, grapple, bite, and a massive amount of damage. I take a huge hit to AC, -2 to -4 when raged, but it's worth it at times. I use an adamanite greataxe and silvered earthbreaker and I count on the others to support me and keep me alive.

I'm part of a team, not solo. Comparing a barb to any other class one to one isn't accurate, you operate in a team.

Hi Senmont,
There is a Pathfinder Society of New England on Yahoo, PFNE as well as the RI Gamers Group on Meetup where people have been running PFS games. You may have better results getting information out using the already existing resources than creating a new one.
I really want to see more PFS games happening in New England, we'd love to see you on those two resources, thanks for starting something up.

Thank you Doug Doug, that is exactly what I'm looking for. How do I contact the great and mighty webmaster Josh? (just in case he is reading this?)

Liberty's Edge

Hi all,
I signed up for PFS at GenCon and I'm trying to register. I have my PFS number, but not my confirmation number.

What can I do? I don't want to lose this character that I'm playing and I want to be able to track his progress on the site, make sure everything gets reported.

Any help would be great, thank you.

Liberty's Edge

As someone very new to Pathfinder, as of GenCon, I also enjoyed playing and wanted to thank the GMs that ran the sessions.

Thank you very much
