So you can use the 1/3 level damage until you dismiss it for the studied strike damage?

Hey guys

Im running an investigator for a home game and was looking at didactic strike. Im not sure about the wording of it. Does it allow an entire party to gain the level bonus and then as an immediate action allow one to deal studied strike damage? Or is it level damage OR studied strike damage?
