![]() Clementine takes off her hat as they enter and sits down with the others, sitting silently as she watches the conversation with wide-eyes as she watches a character from her books go about such a normal life. At the sound of the squeal, however, she stands in alarm, pushing her chair back, her six-shooter in hand before even thinking as she follows the others outside. ![]()

![]() Sorry for the delay - been a crazy few days at work! Clementine hefts her carbine when the body comes into view, letting the others examine it whilst she keeps an eye on the area. ![]() Somehow missed the post until now.. Clementine lifts her skirts clear of the muddy street and hastily follows the sheriff to the scene. As the shots ring out, she pulls out her six-shooter and turns the corner just as another shot buries itself in the Red Velvet above her. Quickly she brings up her gun towards one of the goons and sends a shot at him, aiming at his legs. (Non-lethal) Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 1 - 4 = 22 (Point-blank shot,Non-lethal)

![]() Clementine watches the scene unfold, involuntarily giving a small cry as the dog disappears beneath the wheels of the carriage. Angry, she moves over towards the scene, storming right up too the new arrival. "What the heck do you think you were about? You've no business riding around on that thing if you can't even control it! Now look what's happened! ![]() Sorry, missed that we were all at the jail.... going to assume that Clem agreed with the plan rather than ret-con a post. Clementine rises a little later than is her usual habit the next day and dresses in more conventional and less conspicuous than the clothes she had worn on the trek to town. She does, however, secret her two six-shooters in a small hand-bag which she carries with her, leaving the carbine she had retrieved from the train in her room. Making her way downstairs, she briefly stops to check on the twins before making her way through the unpaved streets towards the jail where she finds the professor nursing a cup of coffee. "Good morning gentlemen" she greets them, taking a cup for herself, "I trust you slept well?" ![]()

![]() After the meal Clementine makes sure that the twins are well settled with the widow before following the others into the Saloon, accepting a whiskey which she nurses as the others begin to their card game, politely declining to join in but instead taking a nearby seat from which she watches proceedings, listening and joining in the conversation. ![]()

![]() Clementine leads Rascal into the clearing, helps the children to the ground and sets them on a convenient log before returning to her horse and removing the saddlebags, saddle and bridle which she sets on the ground, giving the animal a pat and leading it over to a patch of grass, where she ties it up. Returning to her saddlebags, she rummages around, drawing forth a small tent which she efficiently assembles between two trees. As she works she listens to the others planning. "I'll help out too," she says "Happy to take the last watch, I'm an early riser anyway." ![]()

![]() Before they leave Clementine rummages quickly through her saddlebags, bringing out a bundle "I'll be back in a moment" she says to the others before ducking back into the train. Several minutes later she reemerges having changed from her modest skirt into a somewhat stereotyped version of what Easterners would consider to be 'wild west' clothes: boots, a broad rimmed hat and rather tight buckskin trousers, although she retains the light cloth shirt she previously wore. Blushing at the bemused looks she draws, she explains. "Um,.. I thought that these might be more suitable for the journey. I know they're a bit,.. garish. I used to be in a wild west show back east and this was what Pa gave me to wear... He said it'd draw in the crowds. They're well made though and certainly easier to get around in than skirts." ![]()

![]() Clementine holsters her gun as the raiders ride away and quickly moves the rest of the way towards the downed soldiers, picking one of the carbines off the floor and quickly checking it's condition. Turning to the train she nods at the shouts of the other two passengers. Slowly she makes her way back to her seat, helping any passengers who need aid. "Is anyone here a doctor?" she shouts down the carriage, "we need to check if any of these people are still alive!" ![]()

Once again poking her head above the window she brings up her six-shooter, targeting the closer (waiting until he's within 30 ft.) of the two men as he rides past, before she ducks back down below the window. ![]() Clementine welcomes the journey westward, peering excitedly out of the window as the landscape slowly changes as they travel, and joining the children in their gasps at the sight of buffalo, antelope and other unfamiliar animals and plants. Whilst she manages to catch a few hours of sleep, her excitement keeps her from staying asleep for too long. When the train whistle starts to sound repeatedly, Clementine leans over to peer out the window, only to be knocked back on to her seat as the brakes bring the train to a sudden halt. At the sound of the explosion from the front of the train, she instinctively ducks down below the window, glancing around at the other passengers just as bullets pepper the carriage. Quickly Clem stands and pulls some saddlebags from the overhead compartment, rifling around inside and pulling out a belt with two revolvers which she buckles around her waist and then pulling out one of them and quickly looking out the window. Turing back to the other passengers, she focuses on a huddling child. "Get down" she says, keeping her voice as calm as she can. "That's right, right under the seat." Seeing the two downed soldiers' carbines lying unattended, she first takes a shot out the window, and then begins working her way towards them, cursing her decision to wear her best dress for the journey.
