Note that some of the crafted items will require clerical spells. Easiest option will be to have a divine caster available when the item is crafted. Example: For the Ring of Sustenance the required spell is Create Food & Water. As far as I know there is no way for an arcane caster to get that one....

Actually, if you don't have one of the required spells for (non potion) use items (like rings) you can skip it by raising the DC by 5. By the time you get to craft ring that's probably not much of an issue for many of the rings that you might want to forge. For scrolls, potions and trigger activated items (wands, staves, some rods, some wondrous items,) you do need to know the spell.

Also, if you're going crafting (and this is a great setting for someone to do it,) you might consider the Valet Familiar Archetype for your familiar as it will both make skill checks easier and halve the time item creation takes in most cases. Assuming that familiar archetypes are allowed of course which I imagine DM Mustache can weigh in on.

Also note GM Mustache doesn't generally allow one to bypass the spell requirement by increasing the DC. Shouldn't be a big deal with so many caster to collaborate with, tho.

Looking cool, people!

As a resident cleric, Claire will help with the divine list for crafting as she's able.

Karash's spell list is a bit limited for magic item creation. He could potentially craft Cloaks of Resistance, but he doesn't have the appropriate spells for stat boosting items.

There are so many other casters in the party who can cast the spell while you're crafting that it won't be an issue.

I'm still working on my war priest who will have healing abilities. I haven't noticed anyone taking craft armor so I'll also take that and will take craft magic weapons and armor. Would be at lvl 3 at the earliest though.

That's awesome! I doubt we'll have the wealth to need it before level 3 anyhow.

I'm thinking that perhaps we should have a system that incentivizes crafters, perhaps a 10% tip.

Strongly considering it. The benefit is amplified SO far in a 16 man party.

The alchemists can heal themselves and maybe others if one of them takes infusion. The arcanes can also use celestial healing, which has the good descriptor. Kind of a confusing spell but cool! I think it'll be mostly a matter of planning with the party we have.

That protective luck hex is awesome... I might have to take that for my Kingmaker witch... I spend all day every day cackling anyway. Even when we're just talking to people. It's fun!

Cool to see them all in one place. Great to have gotten enough submissions too.

I can tell Keante would fit in very well with the book-keeping parts of the campaign. :D

For the record, Tormyn is a fighter! XD

Very excited! This game will be starting soon...

caster4life here.

This is the alias holding my submission. Still going to change equipment up a little, most likely.

Another dazzling introduction. Arla, take a hero point. The magus features look right to me. You took the -2 for spell combat, cast defensively, etc.

With sparks leaping from her blade, the tax collector dispatches one of the wounded elves and swings gracefully at another. But the second blow seems a little more focused on grace than accuracy and misses by a significant margin. One of the remaining attackers tries to push past the two combatants to reach the elf on the wagon (provoking from Arla and Kazador) while the two left on the hill seek to distract by firing their arrows at the lightning stranger.

GM Screen:

Attacks: 2d20 ⇒ (14, 19) = 33
Dam: 2d8 + 4 ⇒ (7, 6) + 4 = 17
Hannady: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Dam: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

The arrows find their mark, hitting Arla hard (17 damage). Hannady retaliates with an arrow of his own that leaves the tougher-looking of the two elves barely standing. He then recalls his footsoldiers to circle around the wagon. "No point chasin' them into the underbrush. Get back here, lads!"

Party up!
