So "Strength check" is completly different from "Strenght-based skill check"

The text of this rage power says:

"The barbarian adds her barbarian level on one Strength check or combat maneuver check, or to her Combat Maneuver Defense when an opponent attempts a maneuver against her."

Now, i want to know if this bonus can be applied on a Strenght-based skill check.
