Damage still wont beat the eidolon when it comes to pure DPR (without DR).
Cavalier is ultimately the most damage possible, i did a build for one and dealt 16,000 damage in a single round if i crit. Using a charge you can take gorum swordsmanship and use vital strike at the end of a charge with a few mythic ranks as well basically im in a combat and i will win.
