Chavon will wait patiently, with great fidgeting and biting of the tongue... DM: Are you allowing commentary from the peanut gallery while the deliberations are taking place, or can I have a word or three for Grint..I mean, hold off until the decision is unveiled before telling Grint what Chavon thought of his vote.
Ooh, that makes sense...wolf is pretty op, but dog for a city guy makes more sense (although the adventure may go out into the wild at some point if I read the GM's posts correctly). Gotta go switch it out for Deadly Aim for now. I'll have spend a level nursing the puppy before it hits the growth spurt. Thanks for that clarification Thorn.
I am going to get me a dog! Something like a Siberian Huskie. I've always been partial to the Huskie. The feat is so we have a good dog at level 4. I could wait until level 5 to get it, but it seems to make more sense that the dog comes awesome than suddenly becomes awesome after it comes. I was going to buy a dog, but I'm kinda broke...
Here is Chavon's background: Background:
Chavon learned his survival skills under the warm but firm guidance of his father, often serving as guide and guard between towns for the traveling merchants. However, unlike his father, Chavon found the chaotic elements introduced by the unpredictability of humans more fascinating than the ecology of the wilds, and adapted what he learned to city life as he parted ways from his father to strike out on his own. Unfortunately, while Chavon found navigating amongst the lay of the city natural, maneuvering through the social interactions proved more difficult. Disagreements during the last few jobs left Chavon without a team or work, and he has taken to frequenting the various taverns, hoping to pick up word of a job or two...
Chavon has a carefree air about him, and has more luck interacting and navigating the city itself than the residents and visitors therein. Nonetheless, having been a base of operation all his life, Chavon has a certain affinity to Kharum and its welfare. I did not equip him. If this is a concept that puts Chavon on the ballot, I'll be glad to add any more details you may like to see as well as equip him for that potential call to action. |
