Reflex 1 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Reflex 2 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
So, that's a lot of damage to my equipment and myself. Pretty.
Charles hp: 0
Armor hp: 9
Greatsword hp: 10
Charles will die fighting more likely.
Power Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 3) + 10 = 16
I think it's my turn now...
Charles tries to grab the fire elemental, igoring the fact that the fire burns his fingers something fierce. If he succeeds, he will heave the elemental right into the pudding. Summoning up all his power, he burns a point of mythic power to aid him in this endeavor. "Come now", he grunts:"Let's toss you in some ugly".
Repostion combat maneuver 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (4) + 6 + (6) = 16
If i succed, i will push the elemental towards the black pudding for 5 feet. Every additional 5 i beat the elemental's CMD over moves him another 5 feet.
If Mari's ability is still active, i would re-roll
Repostion combat maneuver 1d20 + 6 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 6 + (1) = 12
huh, fat luck that did.
A silly question, but can i use the reposition combat maneuver to technically toss the fire elemental into the pudding?
Charles charges to C-14 and attacks the fire elemental yelling at others. "Burn that ugly jelly! I don't think that swords are of any use there!"
Power Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 4) + 10 = 17
I'd like to be able to do this
Charles turns at the pudding mass."Ugly guy then, i'll be happy when you're not aroun anymore".
Charles always uses the greatsword by default
Charles makes a five-foot step and swings at the fire elemental that is attacking Embok.
Power attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 5) + 10 = 21
Charles makes a five-foot step and swings his greatsword at the creature of fire.
"Can i hurt that black mass? Does anyone know?" he yells.
Power attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 4) + 10 = 17
Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Double damage means you roll dice twice. Ray or touch spell you crit on (roll a nat 20 then confirm), deals x2 damage.
+6? +1 magical weapon, +4 strength +2 base attack -1 power attack.
+11 has nothing to do with weapon focus. +1 magical weapon, +6 from strength, +4 from power attack. It's damage. Charles is using the longsword two-handed, which is allowed.
If nobody took the longsword, Charles did. I didn't notice that the longsword dropped, sorry. I think that i will change my action if that is ok.
Charles, noticing that his greatsword does nothing to the ghostlu creature, sheathes his weapon (1 move action), draws the longsword (2nd move action) he picked up from the previous location and swings with that one, using it two-handed, hoping that he might have luck with a magical weapon. He burns a point of mythic power to attack twice.
Power attack, regular 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Damage 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
Critical confirmation 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Damage 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Sudden power attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage 1d8 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Checked, nothing says incorporeal creatures are immune to crits, plus, it's a ghost weapon.
Damn, too late to change the post. Ah, it's round 2 then.
"My sword just went through it. I'm useless against it it seems. Going to chop the touchable ones", Charles exclaimes charging the ghoul in a straight line.
Charge to M-6
Power attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 1) + 10 = 12
Charles takes a 5-foot step to E-6 and attacks the ghostly figure twice, burning a point of mythic power to do a sudden attack.
Regular Power Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 3) + 10 = 16
Sudden Power Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 6) + 10 = 20
Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Ok, this is the second time. Me lucky with initiative
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Charles looks at the creatures in puzzlement. "What in the nine hells are those things?"he asks reaching over his shoulder to unsheathe the greatsword once more.
Charles approaches the door, stands in front of it and readies to push.
"Anyone seeing any dangerous magic on the door? Can i open it?"
If the answer is negative, he will push the door open, giving it his all if necessary.
If there is dangerous magic on the door and nobody can do anything about it, he will push it anyway, just be very ready to jump back on the first sign of trouble.
Strength check 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Reflex 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Me brainy...
"It's an open space, best if I go in first", mutters Charles removing his greatsword from it's sheath while carefully moving inside the garden looking about for movement.
He then stands there, ready to attack anyone/thing hostile that enters his threatened area.
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Move+unsheath weapon, then ready action
Good, it would be too easy otherwise
"Hmmmm, do we have to break this thing down, or do we knock", asks Charles sliding his fingers over the handle of the greatsword sticking from behind his back.
Do we recharge mythic power or not? I think not.
Charles looks at Thomas with concerned eyes. "What you mean he got yo....oh nine bloody hells! What can we do to help?"
"I don't think i'll find anyhting myself, but it won't hurt to try", says Charles as he rummages through stuff and looks around attentively.
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Anything works. We're supposed to give this subsystem a run for it's money, let's do it proper-like.
"Let's finish this beast shall we?" grunts Charles swinging his greatsword at the monster, trying to impale it on the blade.
Power Attack 1d20 + 7 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 1 + 2 = 23
Damage 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (1, 5) + 11 = 17
Silas, you should re-roll one of those attacks, because of Marigold's ability
Do i hit, or do i need to re-roll also?
I didn't ad +2 for flank. Completely forgot.
Charles charges the werewolf to L-9 and attacks, after which he spends another mythic power to do another sudden attack.
Power Attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 1) + 10 = 16
Sudden Power Attack 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 2) + 10 = 16
Ignores DR
While attacking, he looks at Thomas and asks "Are you all right?"
Shouldn't have looked elsewhere
No problem. Make me hit better and i will carve it up. It takes 69 points of damage to kill me.
I can't resist it!
SUDDENLY: GREATSWORD!
Ok, long story short, i can spend a hero point to ad a+8 to a die roll i haven't rolled yet, or a +4 to a die roll i have already rolled. As far as i know, it's not an action to do so.
Here is the link, just scroll down a little
The roll is now 25, damage stays 17
Should have added a 1d6 to the roll, but too much. Can i however spend a hero point (i have 2 i think, if we are using hero points) to add 4 to the sudden attack roll?
Round 2
Charles quickly steps towards the werewolf and uses a mythic point to perform a sudden attack at him, followed by his normal attack.
He makes a 5-foot step to J-14 so that Silas has a clear line to charge if he wants to.
Sudden attack (power attack) Roll 1 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Sudden attack (power attack) Roll 2 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 6) + 10 = 17
Sudden attack ignores any DR
I spend a hero point to ad +4 to my roll, which makes it a 25. Do i hit with that?
Power attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2) + 10 = 13
Charles runs towards the werewolf.
Makes a run action to I13, i don't have enough movement to charge so i'll approach him
For some reason i had enormous trouble posting this message.
Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Charles shrugs, looking at Embok. "As you wish". he says, hefting his greatsword and ready to spring forward at moment's notice if Embok is seen.
Charles is readying an action to charge the first creature he lays eyes upon, if Embok is discovered
Perception 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Stealth 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12
HP 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Charles will go first.
Round 3
If the zombie is still "alive" when his turn comes, Charles will charge it and attack with the greatsword.
Power Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 5) + 10 = 18
Sorry, i didn't see that everyone was waiting on me.
Round 2
With renewed vigor, Charles attacks the other zombie, aiming to repeat his feat from before.
Power Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 1) + 10 = 17
Re-roll 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Maybe we should signify which round we are in at the beginning of the post?
Charles, thinking that he will miss in midswing, suddenly feels his blade realigning.
Power Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 5) + 10 = 17
Pendin Fust wrote: Don't worry about critical misses. If you miss, you miss...you don't stab yourself. Actually, no, unless i take the path trait
EDIT: Oh, you mean, you won't penalize us for missing critically?
Charles swings his greatsword at the zombie who made a very nice bruise on his chest.
Power Attack 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (1, 2) + 10 = 13
Critical miss confirmation roll 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Init 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Here we go, Charles Trope, fighter extraordinare. Hama's character.
Charles was your pretty run of the mill kid. He ran with other children causing mischief and aggravating elders. But, when he grew up enough to understand that other people are real people with real emotions, he stopped.
A night when two drunken thugs tried to force on his older sister was what defined his existence. He was 14 at the time. He attacked one with a club and got beaten to near unconsciousness for it. Then, while he was lying on the ground, his sister's screams of protest echoing in his ears, crying through his teeth, because he felt so weak an useless, a strange strength came over him. He got up and with a single punch felled one of the thugs. His head hit the ground with such force that the sound of his neck snapping could be heard clearly. The other thug, enraged at this attacked the boy with a dagger. He hit, and it hurt, but Charles didn't even feel impeded. He proceeded to beat the thug to a pulp, stopping only when the city guard pulled him off the man.
He spent days trying to understand what has befallen him, but after finding no answers, he decided that it doesn't matter. He didn't care what has happened as long as he could protect his sister. That was all that mattered to him. When he grew older, that desire grew to encompass the weak, and he joined a fighter's academy and graduated with flying colors.
His source of mythic power is his devotion to protection of his sister and protection of weak and innocent people. He feels that as long as there are oppressed people in the world he must not falter.
Charles is an easy-going fellow, fond of drink and song (his singing voice is terrible), and if somebody befriends him, he or she has gotten a loyal friend for life.
