I'm jumping into a homebrew campaign that's going to incorporate mythic levels to tier 3 at best. The GM wont promise anything more than that. I'm rolling a Diviner Wizard which is provided below. I'm shooting for the conjuration, transmutation, and necro schools eventually with spell focus feats to help boost their DCs. I'm still not sold on the familiar because I don't plan on using her for much than a "helper" of sorts and RP enrichment and wondered if that might be a waste compared to an bonded ring? Also, I think I gimped myself with nearly 17k gold in spells across 5 books. Should I trim my spell book? I was only allotted 8th level wealth of 33k

A lot of this character is built from advice I searched for on the forums and RavingDork's crazy ass characters so any other advice or interesting information I can utilize for my wizard would be appreciated.

Does this mean I know every spell and no longer need to purchase spells?

Playing a 10th level Wizard with a WBL of 8. Looking for advice on optimizing my gold for equipment and spells. I plan on creating a golem in the next 5 levels, so having some gold left over may be a good thing. I'm just so indecisive.

Thank for all the input in advance.

Can you use Many shot and Rapid shot in conjunction? Ideally, to use many shot for the extra arrow for the first attack and then then use rapid shot at -2 for the subsequent attacks?

Need some help with maxing out a cohorts to hit. I have a halfling honor guard cavalier at 5th level who is going to be my witch's personal bodyguard. I'd like to get the most out of his hitting prowess but still have him be able to soak damage decently. What gear would be good for this at his current WBL? Stats are the following:

STR: 17
DEX: 19
Con: 15
INT: 10
WIS: 13
CHA: 13

Feats I plan on taking: 1]Combat Reflexes, 3]In Harms Way, 5]Halfling Luck, Teamwork Feat] Shake it Off or Paired Opportuntist

Also, do mounts count as allies for teamwork feats?

Upon hitting level seven with my witch I was going to take leadership. I want a bodyguard, the ultimate bodyguard, so what would be idea for this class wise? I was thinking a human fighter because of the feats. Any suggestions?

Playing a witch for a Kingmaker campaign and wanted some advice on gear. I can kind of speculate but I know there might be better ideas for what I maybe had in mind. Heres the skinny:

No more than 4,000gp on weapons, 4,000gp on armor/shields, 4,000gp on other permanent magic items, 2,400gp on potions, scrolls, and other disposables, and keep 1,600gp in non-magical equipment, gems, and coins. There is a little wiggle room here. Also, if you havent figured it out the character level is 6.

Stats in case you need them:

Race: Elf
STR: 9
DEX: 17
CON: 14
INT: 20
WIS: 13
CHA: 14

How are witches by level 15? Whats some good ways to help with lack or armor at those levels? I saw some robes that I could maybe fashion as a dress of some sort. I will be taking mage armor and false life spells.

Am I good on assuming that a witch's patron knows all those spells on the witches spell list? I just choose spells from that list on my spells per day per level?

I dont gain two new spells or whatever like a wizard.

Playing my first wizard here next week. I was wondering if there was any cool, flavorful, but legal ways of pimping out your spellbook? What are some of the customization you tried?

I've been doing some research and I decided I wanted to try this new Qinggong archetype. Still doing a lot of reading but I wanted to see what more experienced players could pump out.

The rules:
36 point buy
Full BAB
Access to 3.5 material if needed. [Intuitive Strike seems like a good idea.]
Ability for some maneuvers would be great
If it matters, I am taking vow of chains. [DM is giving me +2 to damage and 2/ DR for them. Also said I would enchant them later on. *shrugs*]

Anything else just ask.

Looking to join a PF pbp game if possible. Never done a pbp game and would to try so please have patience.

If anyone has a free spot for a newbie to join their game I would appreciate it. Never done Pbp before but want to join badly.

Thank you.

Sorcerer: Add one spell known from the sorcerer spell

list. This spell must be at least one level below the highest
spell level the sorcerer can cast.

Im having a stupid day. Could someone clarify this for me lol. Does this apply to each level spell and effectively increases level of spells known by one?

Quick, question. I plan on running my players through the Runelords campaign setting and a PC is going to be a dwarf cavalier. I think a wolf mount would be pretty bad ass for a dwarf. I dont think a standard wolf could handle a dwarf in full armor and other things could handle it. If I make it a dire wolf, would that be game breaking and a bit much for 1st level PC and encounters? I havent looked up mounts yet, and dont know if wolfs are available, but I know dogs are.

Hello, again. I wanted to pick at the brain of some of you here. I was wondering if I could get opinions on the best utility and combat spells for a sorc of each level. Maybe some tactics too. Any and all posts would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello, I've been here nosing around for a few months and reading a lot of good content through these forums. Posted once or twice but nothing significant as of note. Anyhow, I'm tired of my GM flaking out for various reasons and decided I want to get into DMing.

I really want to play myself, but seeing as how nothing ever gets going and out of frustration I proclaimed I would DM. To keep my word, I bought a few PDFs: Core, APG, GMG, Armory. I plan on buying the actual hardcovers eventually.

My questions is where to start? I'm reading the core rules and GMG currently. I though making my own world would be a simple task but it proves daunting and more intricate than I expected. I read a few threads about running a published campaign, but money is tight for the next few months.

Anyhow, thank you and sorry for the wall of text.
