With that mix of characters, I'd either do a buffer (Skald or Bard) or full caster (Shaman or Wizard.) There's so much build range in either of those though that it's hard to narrow down much more.

I have had the idea of doing a skald based on Nathan Explosion from Metalacolypse. I haven't seen too many of those pop up in PFS.

Debuffing/control is the focus of my mesmerist/sorc.

Thanks for all of the good ideas.

Yes, this is for PFS. I am looking for something other than martial because I've mostly played them.

I've got:
A Sunder Fight
Lvl 19 Magus
Grenedier Alchemist
Retired Paly/Ranger
Pistolero Gunslinger
Charging Cavalier
2h Inquisitor
Wild Shape Druid
Unchained Rogue
Trip focused Unchained Monk
Mesmerist/Sorc
Neg Channel Cleric

Just looking for something different.

So I've got credit sitting around for my 13th character, and I'm running out of character ideas. I've played a lot of martial characters lately and am looking for something different to start. The only idea that I've had is an Armor Master Ftr 5/Hellknight 6 building towards high AC.

Any ideas would be great.

6-06 Hall of the Flesheaters - Searching for a lost pirates hideout
7-19 Labyrinth of Hungry Ghosts - Set in the same place

Those are 2 that I know of.

I logged in today to download scenario #23 Tide of Morning in order to print chronicle sheets. When I click to download, it gives me the personalization message. After waiting the 10 sec (or even more), I click again and get the same message. I have tried in both Chrome and IE. I've had no issues downloading other items from my email.

Would the Steadfast Slayer work with my cavalier on a charge if my mount and I would both threaten with 10ft reach? The feat states if you are the only character threatening an opponent.

Steadfast Slayer (Combat)
You stand alone against creatures far larger than you.

Benefit: If you are the only character threatening an opponent and you successfully attack the opponent with a two-handed melee weapon, for each size category larger than you that opponent is, you gain a +2 bonus on your melee damage roll.

The True Dragons boon can only be used in scenarios. The We Be Goblins are all modules.

We have a person in our local group that is playing a wizard who almost exclusively uses magic missle for spells, augmented with metamagics. He uses a firearm for his arcane bond, but not actually for attacks. It gives the illusion of using "Pappy's Boom Stick" to fire out a barrage of missiles. I believe he also took dispel magic, for the express purpose of countering shield spells.

Confusion is always a pain in a PCs ass

I have an unchained monk that is unarmed, specializes in tripping opponents with greater trip, ki throw, and vicious stomp. It's nice to substitute one attack for trip to generate 2 AoOs for yourself, and possibly more for your teammates.

I remember seeing Amiri come into Gen Con, and was floored at how good her costume was! Amiri FTW!

Ummmm...need to build Unchained Rogue...

There is a floating chair item already, just can't recall the name. Also Carpet of Flying.

Spell Penatration is a nice addition, especially once you start running into SR.

Also, I don't know much about firearms, but how are you reloading so quickly? It seems like it should be a move action from Rapid Reload. I'm sure you have an answer; I'm just curious about how it works.

Rapid Reload Feat + Paper Cartridges

Very interested in playing this class, perhaps with a whip build.

No. Only 1 trait per category.

There is a free download for some traits on the Pathfinder Society Player Resources page. Also the Guide to Organized Play has some faction traits as well.

There is a google group called Pathfinder Society Online Collective. Games are posted fairly regularly. Most games use roll20.net for the virtual table top and Google Hangouts for voice chat (both free).

Point blank shot is useful though at an early level. I know you are normally trying to hit touch AC, but when you are forced to use your bow it will help. Plus the -4 will hurt against smaller creatures.

Precise Bomb is a bonus feat from grenadier archetype.

If they just need to be held, yes. If they need to be manipulated, no.

Racial Nat Armor will stack with the amulet.

You start with a spellbook.

I took Spell Penetration for one of my feats for SR.

Truestrike is not a bad spell/wand, especially for doing combat manuevers. Long arm would take care of most AoOs. Can use with arcana that allows you to use wands with spell combat.

Clever Wordplay is a nice trait to change a single skill from Cha to Int, I used UMD.

Metamagic rods cannot be used with spell combat though, since they take a free hand to wield. You may not need grasping tail in that case.

Would the slashing grace feat from the advanced class guide, work with the ** spoiler omitted ** I am trying to build a whip master swashbuckler. Also would I get the dex to damage on the monowhip from slashing grace.

I would say no on the dex to damage, since you can't apply str to damage. If this is a PFS character, the monowhip isn't a legal item anyways.

With a Magus, your spell combat/spell strike with touch spells is your bread and butter for damage.. I have a magus is my top level PFS character. Mine is a dex magus, but str are just as good. Google magus guide and check out the guide there. I believe it's Walt or Walter who is the author. I found the guide very useful.

I am in the process of making a similar Inquisitor. One thing I looked at was Combat Reflexes, to later take advantage of Teamwork Tactics that provide extra AoO attempts. The biggest being Outflank.

Definitely true on the saving gold, especially since I miscalculated my belt and headband upgrades.

I believe Amulet of Spell Mastery only works as a Wizard's bonded item.

I'm careful about my spell usage, but getting less so. My AC currently is 23, 27 with Shield buff. My damage is limited to 1d6 + dex/enhance (7 right now), if I don't use spells. That was the reason for wanting to save for Ring of Wizardry.

My magus is currently at level 7 and I'm looking at what gear I should focus on upgrading or purchasing. Currently I have about 13k gold.

Equipment I have:
+1 Keen Adamantite Scimitar
+1 Mithral Chain Shirt
Ring of Protection +1
Cloak of Resistance +1
Belt of Dex +2
Headband of Intellect (Diplomacy) +2

I was considering saving for a Ring of Wizardry I, but am also looking at increasing my some of my other gear bonuses.

Other ideas I had:

Lesser Metamagic Rod of Empower
Amulet of Nat Armor
Ioun Stone for Wis Bonus + Wayfinder

My build is Dervish Dance with Intensified Shocking Grasp using level 1 slot.

Thanks
