I don't have it handy, but in Core there was a Story Bane Roster on the back of a wildcard.

That was it, thanks! Dunno why I didn’t think to look there.

Under the Dangers section it reads “each time you encounter the danger, randomly choose a new Critter story bane.”

What the heck is a critter? Nothing in the story bane decks 0-4 has the critter tag, and none that I noticed are named critter. Was this supposed to be Vermin?

Thanks for the responses. Your assessment was pretty much what I figured. This is going to be a rough scenario :)

There is also a discussion started in this thread just in order to consolidate things.

He and I are asking different questions. I'm at work now but will reply with card text once I get home.

The scenario specifies that victory is achieved if the top card of each location deck must be an "enemy ship."
Can locations be closed in this scenario? I wasn't sure if the scenario would check an empty location and mark that as a failure, or not check it at all because there was no deck to check.

Thanks!

Now in AD2, we're finding Freiya's recharge already intensely powerful. With the right card, that's -4 to any check to defeat any monster or barrier. That plus a Black Spot (which, like Incendiary Cloud, I believe is okay to play as part of a check to defeat a monster where you also use an Attack spell?) ..."

IIRC, only one of each card type per character per check is allowed. If the player attempting the check uses an attack spell someone else would have to play Black Spot.

Thanks! 7% is better than $20+ shipping.

If we elect to pick up the Skulls and Shackles base set, or any other Paizo products we are subscribed to, at GenCon, are we sill charged for shipping?

Just to throw this out there re: Amazon...
I pre-ordered the base set of RotR about 6 weeks prior to the game's release. After discovering the subscription offered by Paizo I started that, beginning with adventure deck 2. My adventure deck 2 arrived BEFORE my base set. It sounds like you had a better shipping experience than I did, but for my money, I'd rather spend a little extra to be sure I get the product ASAP. I did a bit of digging and discovered that Amazon is historically bad at getting/shipping board game related stuff.
