Hey Matt, thanks so much for being willing to take over this game! It's very much appreciated.

Cerrus is a born and raised member of Breachill, who turned to traveling around the Inner Sea to find something more important than the small town that his family helped establish. Once he returned to town, he found writings about his grandfather's possessions that seem to indicate that the early history of Breachill isn't exactly what's written down.

While I have enjoyed Cerrus and the Thaumaturge class well enough, I have been considering retiring him - at least in part to balance out the party composition. Since we lack a full martial, I've been considering Guardian since I've been eyeing it since launch. But, that's definitely a conversation that doesn't have to happen immediately.

Hmm, this must be a blind spot in PF2E then. I was looking at options like Treat Poison, Administer First Aid, Stabilize. But I thought they all require a healer's kit.

Knowing that he isn't trained in medicine like Ellaeaanda, Cerrus examines the spiders more closely, hoping to understand why Resa is reacting like this to a bite.

Cerrus shares his understanding with the group. "To safely attack the centipedes without damaging the pillars and risking a cave-in, we need to draw them away from the columns or avoid physical attacks altogether, which would be difficult for most of us. I suppose another option would be to reinforce the columns somehow, likely needing some quick thinking and crafting ability."

Having completed his preparations, Cerrus bids the goblins and the charau-kas farewell. "I hope we are back soon with tales of victory and newfound treasure. Then we have a worthy celebration!"

He sets off with his new friends, anxious to uncover what lies in wait at the cave but also with calmness that he is facing whatever comes with this group.

Waking to the sounds of Netkin's alchemy, Cerrus joins Netkin in early morning preparations. He creates two knick-knacks from his bag of random doo-dads.

He attaches one to his new battle axe, and offers Ardoinel the other.

I've forgotten that Cerrus has the Talisman Esoterica feat. I can create two talisman every morning. Two Potency Crystals are created.

Cerrus enjoys the evening with the goblin tribe, telling tales of the group's adventures. "And then that damned slime thing hit me so hard that I was unconscious after two solid hits. Thankfully, Netkin woke me up and I kept fighting."

After awhile, Cerrus tries of the merriment and finds a quiet corner to sleep.

Upon waking, Cerrus asks the group if additional preparations need to be made. "Anything to do before we head back to that cave entrance?"

@GM Delta Arena: Did those two charau-ka get attacked by the beast that we allowed to leave the citadel?? I'm trying to piece together months old decisions and memories.

Cerrus also speaks with the Bumblebrasher clan leadership. "My friends and I were able to remove the nasty creatures below and either dispatched of them or, in some cases, quelled unhappy spirits. I believe two friendly kobolds still reside in one of the rooms. I suspect that you and them could find a workable agreement that allows them to stay in a portion of the citadel in exchange for services or similar."

Cerrus looks at the charau-ka in sympathy but has no medical training to speak of.

"Shall we rest here for the day and then set off toward the cave again?"
