An unfourtanetly disagreeable fellow, even among his fellow tengu, Cerveldren was forced out of Kwalani after a particularly nasty argument with one of the leaders. Fourtanetly, what little training he did acquire as a herbalist allowed him to find a job out near Absalom in one of the smaller villages.

Originally willing to simply be an herbalist and live out his days in peace, living in such proximity to Absalom gave him plenty of exposure to Pathfinders, some good, some bad but one thing Celdrexen was if nothing else was very attentive. He knew that if he became a Pathfinder of renown, he could go back to Kwalani with pride in his eye as heaven forbid they disallow a Seeker to come home to glory.

His first pair of assignments after basic training were rather simple, surprisingly. "Explore, Cooperate, Report." being the Pathfinder ethos, he merely shadowed two groups of Pathfinders on their mission, making sure to observe how they fought as a team, and reporting back to the Captains on what he saw.

Seeing he had some talent for this, they were now willing to send him on his first mission, which to him seemed like an insult, simply retrieving a package. Of course, not all as is to the eye, and he found himself deeply humbled by the experience, and he nearly died.

Much wiser for the experience, he now pursues the role with more focus, never forgetting his near-death experience.
