It is an additional exploration activity, your DM should handle it for you, similar to searching to detect traps.

It is a very situative feat. Wish i had it in Malevolence...

My GM says that it gives no bonus to perceiving the incorporeal so they would have to be noticed first and that it is an extra activity as you said.

I just don’t see the point of it if it is not for detecting/perceiving.

Please pardon me if this is in the wrong area. I am playing a Thaumaturge with the Ghost Hunter archetype. I have recently chosen Investigate Haunting and and not sure what to expect from it.

We are playing Abomination Vaults and just leveled up to 4th level. What exactly am I supposed to get out of it. If I have not explored an area how am I supposed to get information. How would I know about haunts and incorporeal things deep in the dungeons?

Thanks

What happens if you pay for the physical book bundle and they run out and you don’t get it?

I am playing a ghost hunter Thaumaturge. When doing checks to disable a haunt (say is says to use occultism) can I use Esoteric lore instead? Or do I need to invest skill increases to Occultism? We are only lvl two and this is my first Pathfinder game.
Sorry if this is not the right thread.
