If a target is Sickened and I make it Shaken, are the penalties stacked?
ie. -4 to hit, etc.

Rake archetype for Rogue:

Bravado’s Blade (Ex)

When a rake hits an opponent and deals sneak attack damage, she can forgo 1d6 points of that damage and make a free Intimidate check to demoralize the foe. For every additional 1d6 points of sneak attack damage she forgoes, she receives a +5 circumstance bonus on this check.

This ability replaces trapfinding.

It doesn't explicitly state it must be a melee attack, can my rogue use this against an opponent who is flat-footed and vulnerable to sneak attacks?

Looking to make a rogue for the new Skull & Shackles AP.
78 straight point buy
Human
Max level 15

I would like to incorporate at least the following:
Weapon Focus
Dazzling Display
Shatter Defenses
And maybe Hero's Display (the Performance combat feat) for flair...

Any other ideas/feats/rogue talents to help intimidate enemies or make them susceptible to sneak attacks?

Order of the Sword Cavalier level 20 who Charges on his horse mount attacks a giant...

Lance 1d8 x3

Charging (lance deals double damage while charging) 1d8 x4
Cavalier Supreme Charge (lance deals double damage) 1d8 x5
Spirited Charge (lance deals triple damage) 1d8 x6

(Assume PC Str +1, Weapon +2, Challenge +20, Knight's Challenge from Order +2, Mount Str from Order +5)

so a regular charge at level 20 is?
6d8 + 6*(30)
6d8 + 180

And a critical hit would be?
7d8 + 7*(30)
7d8 + 210

Is it a morale bonus to the saving throw?

This would be real handy!

Life-Drinker
Aura strong necromancy; CL 13th Slot none; Price 40,320 gp; Weight 12 lbs.

Description
This +1 greataxe is favored by undead and constructs, who do not suffer its drawback. A life-drinker bestows two negative levels on its target whenever it deals damage, just as if its target had been struck by an undead creature. One day after being struck, subjects must make a DC 16 Fortitude save for each negative level or the negative levels become permanent.

Arcane Blast
You can convert any spell into an attack.

Prerequisites: Arcane spellcaster, caster level 10th.

Benefit: As a standard action, you can sacrifice a prepared spell or unused spell slot of 1st level or higher and transform it into a ray, targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. This attack deals 2d6 points of damage plus an additional 1d6 points of damage for every level of the spell or spell slot you sacrificed. 0-level spells may not be sacrificed in this manner.

This is a supernatural ability.

Can my Eidolon make two poison attacks per round?
It has two heads each with bite and a poison attack.

The rule states it can only be used 1/round...but is that per separate bite attack?

Poison (Ex)

An eidolon secretes toxic venom, gaining a poison attack. Pick one bite or sting attack. Whenever the selected attack hits, the target is poisoned.

Eidolon poison—type poison (injury); save Fort negates; frequency 1/round for 4 rounds; effect 1d4 Str damage; cure 1 save.

The save DC is equal to 10 + 1/2 the eidolon’s HD + the eidolon’s Constitution modifier.

For 2 additional evolution points, this poison deals Constitution damage instead. This poison can be used no more than once per round. The summoner must be at least 7th level before selecting this evolution. Source: Advanced Player's Guide

Are there any penalties for combat/ride checks for a medium sized character riding a huge mount?

ie. do you need a reach weapon to attack an adjacent opponent?

thanks!

I am playing an elven cavalier with a horse which is difficult to bring into dungeons. There is druid in our party (level 12) who can wildshape into all sorts of cool stuff...for example a cavern lizard. Is it feasible he wildshape into something like that so I can maximize my cavalier charge abilities?

(I am asking because Hero Lab says a roc is not available as a mount for a cavalier)

I have a 12th level halfling cavalier with the leadership feat.

If I take a pegasus as a monster cohort, I still get to keep my Wolf Mount from my class feature?

For example, I could adventure with both my pegasus and my wolf?

Is there a feat/magic item/spell that will enable a mounted character on a horse to charge through difficult terrain?

ie. Would Horseshoes of a Zephyr work?

Banner (Ex)

At 5th level, a cavalier’s banner becomes a symbol of inspiration to his allies and companions. As long as the cavalier’s banner is clearly visible, all allies within 60 feet receive a +2 morale bonus on saving throws against fear and a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls made as part of a charge. At 10th level, and every five levels thereafter, these bonuses increase by +1. The banner must be at least Small or larger and must be carried or displayed by the cavalier or his mount to function.

I thought I read someplace that anything that affects an ally will also affect the cavalier.

Will a 5th level cavalier who charges with his lance (which is adorned with a banner) receive the +2 morale bonus on saving throws against fear and a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls made as part of a charge?

Tactician (Ex)

As a standard action, the cavalier can grant this feat to all allies within 30 feet who can see and hear him. Allies retain the use of this bonus feat for 3 rounds plus 1 round for every two levels the cavalier possesses. Allies do not need to meet the prerequisites of these bonus feats.

So let's say a cavalier uses this ability for OUTFLANK Teamwork Feat and has two fighter buddies within 30'. Then the next round, a rogue ally enters the melee within 30' of the cavalier.

Does the rogue now receive the benefit of a teamwork feat?

Would this be correct?
Assume a 15th level cavalier with a +1 lance and power attack:

1) Lance on Foot w/PA
1d8 + [(4 str) + (2 Str) + (1 enhancement) + (12 PA) ] = 1d8+19

2) Lance on Foot w/PA critical hit
3d8 + 3* [(4 str) + (2 Str) + (1 enhancement) + (12 PA) ] = 1d8+57

3) Lance on Foot PA w/ Challenge
1d8 [(4 str) + (2 Str) + (1 enhancement) + (12 PA) + (15 Challenge) ] = 1d8+35

4) Lance on Foot PA w/ Challenge Crit
3d8 + 3*[(4 str) + (2 Str) + (1 enhancement) + (12 PA) + (15 Challenge) ] = 3d8+102

The rule of the feat states...

Benefit: When you are adjacent to one or more allies who also have this feat, you gain a +1 bonus on saving throws per such ally (maximum +4).

So would a rider and his mount count as a +1 bonus to each other?

Is there an item/spell/feat that will allow me to charge through a square that is occupied by an ally?

I am playing an elf cavalier, order of the dragon level 10.
He has an 18 Strength and a +2 lance and am using Challenge ability for +10 damage.

Mounted Charge using a shield
Is this correct damage?
1d8 + (1d8 doubling) + [(4 str) + (2 enhancement) + (10 challenge)] = 2d8+16

And would this be correct damage for a critical?
1d8 + (1d8 doubling) + 3[(4 str) + (2 enhancement) + (10 challenge)] = 2d8+48

Now throw in Spirited Charge Feat:
(When mounted and using the charge action, you deal triple damage with a lance.)
1d8 + (1d8 doubling) + (1d8 tripling) + [(4 str) + (2 enhancement) + (10 challenge)] = 3d8+16

And would this be correct damage for a critical?
1d8 + (1d8 doubling) + (1d8 tripling) + 3[(4 str) + (2 enhancement) + (10 challenge)] = 3d8+48

Please confirm, thanks!

Can a cavalier have multiple mounts simultaneously?
I am in a campaign playing an elven cavalier who was born on the coast and spends a lot of time in/around the sea. The DM allowed me to have a dolphin as a Mount (Class feature) since I spend so much time in the water and my character is closely allied with nearby merfolk. My question is, can I also have a horse as a Mount at the same time?

Is it game-unbalancing to have 2 different mounts (per the class feature) or is this acceptable?

thanks,
