"I think we can use the water to dampen the areas the fire has not gotten to yet. Wet straw is not so easy to burn.

If dampening the area out would take more than one barrel I would not go for it unless I/we could do it very quickly.

Would Fireball work as a flash flame?

The men's eyes grow wide and they take you much more seriously. They look at each other for a moment. The larger one looks about ready to fight, but the small squirrelly one holds up his hands to stop the fight. "Alright, alright, but not here. Let's go somewhere a bit more private, alright? " At this point, Troy finds your group and comes running up to Thervold. "You were so funny! You had no clue what you were doing, did you? haha!.. Hey who are these guys? " Troy gestures toward the ranch-hands currently negotiating the terms of the fight.

Edelle wanders away from the crowds. She is used to a more serene environment. Roughrider bows out, realizing there will be plenty of time for conversation later. She sees the vast expanses of the humming hills around her. The sunlight glints off of several small objects on hillsides to the east.

The ranchhands lead you away from the crowds toward the back of the barn, out of sight of most people. Troy is sent away to continue exploring and he has no problem with this. The remaining ranch hands also gather. There are currently five of them to your four men. Edelle can see this gathering from her position to the north, and begins to wander in.

"Alright, let's settle this. We're all men of our words here, so let's settle this like a gentleman's duel. If we win, you keep your traps shut. If you win, we'll turn ourselves in. No manufactured weapons. Last team standing wins. Agreed?" One man sits out, ensuring that the fight is fair at 4 on 4. Edelle is about 200 feet away at this point, when she arrives, the other man may join the fray.

"This is going to be interesting." Casvian thinks to himself ready to watch Alric fight.

Casvian takes a break from his chores to ask the other members of the party if they will be entering this rodeo.

"They are mean and they eat people, or so I have heard. I don't know much else about them, and that is all that I need to know to justify leaving them alone."

At some point Casvian ask anyone with rodeo experience. "Just to be sure I heard things correctly these people are going to be playing with wyverns?"

Casvian awakes and to his surprise he can see. He is so happy, then he remembers the chores. "Oh well I guess the easy life is over." He then goes to find a job that does not involve socializing. Loading the animals from the pens seems like a good idea.

Casvian thinks to himself "If my luck is good, my sight won't return until all the work is done."

Casvian points to a random direction and tells Alric to "get to work". He does so with a smirk on his face since he is still blind.

Casvian interjects "It is strange that we have all been pulled together like this, that if Kronos's minions had not tried to take some of us prisoner we would never have met. Now we stand united against him. I surely believe he will be his own undoing."

"Wyverns, aren't those things dangerous"?
Casvian does not know much about them, but he has heard they are mean. Maybe there reputation has been exaggerated, but the does not consider the idea of fighting them for sport a good idea.

<Realizes I am not the GM.> Bribe Magnu with cookies. He will give you time off and 3 free levels.

Casvian sees for about a half second, and yells "My eyes". He then appears to be disappointed. "I thought my vision had returned, but I guess not. It does seem like it won't be much longer."

"Sorry for the interruption"

He then begins to think to himself. "This new guy sure does like to talk."

Casvian listens to the others talk and plan what is going to happen. He never knew until now how much he missed the excitement of being in the middle of things. He then begins to wonder if he will ever be able to have a normal life, and be happy with it.

Good news: My internet is back to working consistently.
Bad news: I won't be home that long today.

After I inform my other pbp groups of the internet issue. I will get caught and made an actual post if I have something relevant to say.

Casvian chews on the herbs that he was given to chew his condition while making this assessment. He was almost becoming use to his condition.

Casvian sits brooding in silence. A chance to fight a dragon, and he is missing it just because he can't see. He does hope that the others return alive. He has never met a dragon, but he has heard that they can be vicious creatures, even the teenagers(not a typo).

Magnu according to the devs monk must use two weapons when flurrying. It seems nobody is a fan of this idea.

Casvian has no interest in playing with dragons at the moment due to his current condition, but he will not make a big deal of it if the others wish to go.

"So people are treating dragons like animals? I hope the dragons are playing along. If not this could get ugly"
