It's actually not that hard if you decide what you want to do with the net and trident. It's easy to try to do too much and you end up not being able to do anything very well. I would recommend trying to figure out what you want specifically first. Some archetypes will certainly be better than others. Mobile Fighter, Lore Warden, and Two-Weapon Fighter are all decent options depending on what you want.
You're probably going to be more focused on the net than the trident for awhile. There are just too many feats you will want/need. You're going to need exotic weapon proficiency, two-weapon fighting, net adept, net and trident, and net maneuvering just to open up options for using the net. That's pretty much your first 3 levels, assuming your human.
After that you will see disarm, trip, and dirty trick maneuvers open up. This is where you're going to have to decide what you want to focus on based on the campaign. If it were me, I would consider dirty trick and taking the weapon focus/specialization feats for the trident at this point.
I would also probably not worry about the rest of the two-weapon fighting chain. The net is a ranged touch attack to use so you're probably going to do just fine hitting with it.
Well actually with net adapt feat it becomes a reach melee weapon, I'm currently in the middle of my build
The net and trident bonus damage and bonus to confirm crits actually also apply to any light or one handed weapon I seriously think this build is underrated because you can play a base fighter and become a walking arsenal and have a weapon for each damage type and take quick draw asap to be able to get past most forms of DR with the change from a trident to a longsword or flail, making yourself permemtly enlarge gives you even more area control and the ability to net up to huge things
