Cassandra hisses at the creature as it draws near, 'creature' was perhaps the best word she could use for what this thing was, it was 'technically' human but it was very clear that radiation had long since done away with everything that really made it 'human'. Cassandra's claws popped out and in an instant Cassandra was on the creature swiping at it as quickly as she could in an effort to put it down as quickly as possible both for her sake and for its own.

Cass Claw 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Cass Claw 1 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Cass Claw 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Cass Claw 2 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

"Harley! Get'em!" Cassandra orders the bike hoping that perhaps the others would be unable to see or hear her due to the chaos of the fight, upon receiving the order Harley's engine revs for a moment before 'she' tears forward to defend Cassandra by slamming into her attackers.

Harley Slam: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Harley Slam Damage : 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

If the first target goes down Cass' order is directed at the second creature(monster 2) and Harley makes a 5 foot adjustment in order to enter combat with it. Otherwise Harley simply attacks Monster 4.

Cassandra raises an eyebrow at Saturday's unexpected warning, were the mans eyes simply that good? Her gaze darted around once more trying to spot what he had seen that she had not, regardless she trusted that Saturday would not make a false claim and as such slipped off of Harley leaving the bike active "Be back soon." Cassandra said with a wink to the rest of the group before weaving through the cars in an effort to find somewhere out of sight where she could lie in wait to spring an attack on an unsuspecting enemy.

From her hiding spot Cassandra's eyes widen as she witnesses Wayfarers transformation hoping very dearly that it was the intended effect of whatever it was that he put in that vial though the visual signs of intense pain did little to relieve her concerns, after this was done with that would certainly need to be something that was discussed as it was most certainly NOT among the skills that Wayfarer had mentioned having.

Spoiler:

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

Cassandra will remain as close as she can to the group while still striving to remain hidden, for reference Cass has scent so she'll pickup new arrivals in the area that are within 30'ft(though not there specific direction) (60'ft if upwind, 15 if Downwind) Cant wait for the day we encounter something really offensively smelling because THAT is going to be amusing to write haha

Cassandra tries her best to keep her frustration over the car density off ehr face, it was not of course the first time she'd encountered a road a bit too blocked up to ride easily but that didn't exactly make it less grating on the nerves. "Theres just too many cars around, I think it's best if I just stick with the rest of you, if there IS anything I don't wanna end up getting myself and Oxanna stuck while I try and maneuver through this damn maze of metal"

Cassandra raises an eyebrow at Wayfarer's reaction to whatever it was he saw not quite catching where his surprise was directed specifically "Well at least you've got your eyes open" she said giving him a grin If whatever you might have seen pops up again speak up, might end up being one of the monsters Khazad mentioned." Cassandra said with a shrug.

*shakes fist at cars* One day Harley will roll right over you! Also Beowulf I'll be shooting you a PM about an idea I have for Harley's progression.

"You'd be surprised what Harley is capable of" Cassandra said with a wink directed at Khazad before flipping a swith the roar of the bike became more restrained becoming a humm far more like much smaller types of bikes "Like I said Harley can be quiet if the need arises, unless anyone objects I think I'll take a quick look ahead since I've got a bit of speed to work with, Oxana if you wanna stick with me then thats just fine shouldent slow us down any and if anything does go wrong having a bit of backup cant hurt." Cass said and unless objectsion were brought up she would ride out to do a quick scout of the immediet area before the town.

If Cass Rides out:
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 26 vs Traps

FOr refrence Harley is not 'silent' but rather but rather just not excessively loud any longer so probably about as quiet as anything with no stealth ranks and a 14 dex can be.

"Depends on the situation but in most cases of open battle I like to get behind distracted idiots and tear 'em a now one, these claws are about as tough as steel. But if I get the chance I like to slip around opponents, pick people off who look important and get what needs to be done done, If need be I can even ride Harley into a fight, she's tough enough to make a pretty solid impact on most anyone though fighting while controling a motorcycle isnt exactly the easiest thing."
Cassandra said with a laugh, it appeared Baird and Stryke were just as they appeared a physical duo, they would likely be the best ones to pair with in a conflict.

"If it comes down to it I'll probably stick on you or Stryke in a fight, you're big and tough so it might be enough to keep them off me for long enough for me to do my thing." She said with a smirk, between Oxana, Wayfarer and likely Khazad if that rifle was any indication they had a very solid back line for ranged attacks.

Wayfarers 'wolf'(Cass felt relatively confident that calling it that was likely true) was an interesting sort and the fact that the wolf was trained for combat and good at bringing down enemies was great, if people were flat on there asses then they were far less capable of defending themselves.

Cassandra greatly enjoyed the meal provided by Baired and between that and the meal last night it almost all but made up for the money she had lost in the knife game, it was quite strange to be apart of a group after so long, the overwhelming majority of her work in recent years had been alone, the few times when it happened that Cassandra did some work with others generally they were the sort that kept to themselves and split off to handle there own aspects of a mission. But this group at least for the time being appeared to be far more group oriented while certainly a strange departure it was actually a bit of a nice concept to be at least temporarily back in a group. Ideally things would turn out better this time.

They cleared out of the bar not long after everyone had there fill with Khazad leading them, Cassandra had all but immediately hopped onto Harley, the bike roared to life, not two seconds after she had her helmet on Cassandra took off down the road giving the appearance of all but abandoning the group for the few moments her departure lasted before she circled back to join them once again "Sorry 'bout that but that's pretty much the best way short of a bit of strong coffee to get me really 'awake'" Cassandra said flipping up her helmet slightly as she rode near the group.

"So going with Wayfarers idea of assuming we're gonna have bandit issue how do we want to handle it when it becomes a problem? We're a pretty solidly sized crew and we've got a bear, so if we only end up attracting the average sort of bandits we might be able to just 'convince' them that it would be better for them to just roll on rather than needing to waste time and energy on a fight."

"But if there a bit more organized, like apart of an actual gang if we might have a harder time of it depending on how strong there actual crew is, I'm still up for riding ahead to scout a bit if that's what we want to do. I can keep Harley quiet for that bit and if it comes to it I'll just fire her up and make a bit of noise on my way back to you guys."

If Beowulf is ok with it:
"If anyone else wants to hop on Harley should be more than tough enough to hold two of us and that could make the scouting go a bit better as well.

Hey Beowulf do you mind if I make a slight adjustment to Cass' ability scores? I just now realized I perhaps may have focused a bit too much on having an awesome Dex but that wont exactly help Cass in the long run when many of the feats I want have a strength requirement.
the changes would be.

Strength: 13 (+2 Points)
Dexterity: 17 (-1 Point)
Charisma: 15 (+1 Point)

This will give Cass a lot more options while leveling outside of just dumping all future stat boosts into strength which is what I would need to do if I keep the scores as-is. The changes wont have any real effect on what Cass has already done(bad pre-rp dex rolls anyway!)

"yup, I've loved tinkering with machines ever since I first got tha chance to give it a while, I've had Harley for a rather long time now, fuel CAN be a bit of a problem but I've learned a few ways to ease it and occasionally I'll find someone who'll part with somne fuel for a reasonable price." Cassandra said with a shrug, at present thankfully fuel was not exactly a major concern she had more than enough to last a month and it was rare that it would take more than a month to get more even if only a few days worth. Cassandra chuckled as Baired appeared to be far less knowledgeable of vehicles than Wayfarer confusing the talk of Harley for talk of an animal like Stryke

"Well I supposr Harley IS a bit of a beast, but not quite the same as Stryke, you'll get to see her whenever we decide to set out." Cassandra said with a laugh wondering how he would react to what Harley actually was if he truly lacked knowledge of vehicles.

With that Kazad chimed in suggesting that once they had eaten it would be a good time to head out and mentioning that Tennesee was not even poarticularly far away an ideal notion as it would mean little travel and hopefully speedy retrieval of the loot. "Yeah I've had quite a few people try there hand at trying to take Harley." Cassandra said and with that her claws would pop out "But nobody's quite managed to be up to the task" said with a grin "It is unfortunate that we dont all have bikes but at the very least I can use the speed HArley gives me to scout ahead a bit, I've got a few ways to keep Harley quiet enough that I shouldent even be noticed if we do figure I should scout ahead."

Cassandra let out a long yawn as she awoke to the early morning sun, her nights sleep had been decent enough and she found herself blissfully lacking in a hangover as she recalled having only a single drink over the course of the night due to her foolish gambling attempt her recollection however brought up an important point she hadn't had much in the way of actual water in a rather long stretch of time leaving her throat dry, a quick dig through Harrley's side bags produced a large canteen from which Cassandra would drink and made a mental note to see if the inn would refill the canteen.

Taking out her kit Cassandra went to work her hair and fur, were today not when they were planning to head out for Tennesee she would have ridden Harley out in search of a body of water in which to bathe but as she was unsure how soon Kazad wished to set out she decided against it. Her appearance in order Cassandra re-packed her gear attaching the bulk of it to Harley as usual. With a small smirk Cassandra hopped onto the bike and in an instant the bike roared to life.

With Harley active Cassandra rode the bike much closer to the entrance, it would be rather inconvenient to have to go off and get Harley later when they departed so it was best to bring her near, on top of that it would certainly be a bit of fun to see the reactions, Harley always drew quite a bit of attention. Once at the entrance Cassandra would hop off Harley and proceed back into the bar finding three of the others already awake and together, Kazad himself was already most of the way through a meal that reminded Cassandra that she too should grab something to eat, 'Wayfarer' who greeted her in a freidnly if a bit detached manner, and Baird along with Stryke who had evidently gotten up early to go hunting and had managed to obtain a rather large catch.

"Yup, I've had a few people call me Cass, but usually everyone sticks to the full name. Have the others awoken yet?" Cassandra asked wondering exactly what was the best course of action for food, Baird's statment to Wayfarer was that 'we' might as well have one last good meal but whether he meant himself and Stryke or the group as a whole she was unsure, the offer of water however was clearly up for all and one she was willing to partake in.

Cassandra chuckled at Baird's rather simplistic approach to how best to deal with Wayfarer's abilities, it was of course not a BAD idea, often the best solution was a simple one. The danger posed by Wayfarer's 'grenades' was only present if they made poor tactical choices, ideally in a combat situation he could use them to deal with incoming threats while the rest of them dealt with present threats.

"Once we figure out exactly what we're up against and if were even actually 'up against' it we can decide how best to proceed with our various skills and weapons. Once we're a bit closer I can do a bit of reconnaissance to give us an idea of what we're up against. On foot it's pretty much a guarantee nobody will spot me. Once we're on the road I definitely agree with Baird any information he has on what we're going into is information we need. I only like surprises when I'm the one springing them." Cassandra said with a grin.

Cassandra smirked at Khazad's comment on the lack of anyone taking him up on his handshake "I tend to hold off on the handshaking until I know for a fact that I'm going to take up a job." She said with a shrug, despite everything Cassandra liked at least making an effort to keep to her word when she gave it in a genuine manner and before she gave any indication of agreement she wanted to know a bit more, Khazad shortly thereafter provided that Nashville was quite the dangerous location and that it was also a home to 'monsters' from what he had heard.

The vagueness of it was a bit troubling but not entirely unexpected, stories about certain places get passed around so much it's a rather difficult task to keep things factual 'monsters' could mean anything, people like herself, people like the horned men, it could mean nothing at all or it could mean there was something genuinely freaky out there.

She'd never know unless she took the job, 'Wayfarer' as he called himself seemed confident that Khazad was being at least mostly truthful and was willing to pursue this venture, the dwarvish woman was all but ready to set out, and the dark skinned man gave a strangely cryptic agreement on joining in, all that was left was Baird and herself. "Alright, I'm in, I don't have much else to do with my time and I'm certain I'll be able to make use of whatever we find." She said with a smirk leaving only Baird as the last undecided party.

Cassandra listenedintently as the man explained the details of what he needed, overall it sounded pretty solidly up her ally onsidering the nature of the mission was 'go here, get stash' theoretially depending on the size of the stash and the amount of protection around it she could do the job alone. but of course if the guard was light and defenses minimal it was unlikely this man would be seeking aid.

"Sounds simple enough, all we really need to do is not alert any attention, what exactly makes Nashville so 'nasty'?" Cassandra inquired, perhaps it was just general thugs, perhaps bbandits, or maybe even something worse. Cassandra knew little of Tennesee so she had little way of knowing its dangers.

Cassandra wasn't entirely sure why she was still in the bar, she'd eaten and had plenty of time to relax after her rather long trip, for a while she had intentionally lingered because the people were nice and the conversation pleasant. It was surprisingly easy to get along with the people in this bar, far more so than she was used to so perhaps that was a bit of it. Now though most of the bar had cleared out, thankfully for the safety of the bar the horned man had left and not a single issue had arisen from his stay, perhaps that would be a nice memory for those assembled, that even one so strange looking was not necessarily as monstrous as he appeared.

Among the remaining patrons was the large pelted man... Baird? She was certain she had heard him throw out the name a few times even if it had not necessarily been at herself along with his bear, the dark skinned man who had initiated the knife challenge that had been a major factor in her actually becoming acquainted with the others in the bar his name had been one she had not quite picked up leaving him a mystery, the dwarvish woman who had made no effort to reign in her curiosity, and another man whom Cassandra had not quite had the chance to become acquainted with.

As Cassandra took stock of the remaining patrons and contemplated looking for somewhere to spend the night a new figure burst through the doors of the bar in quite a hurry, it was more than a little surprising and rather immediately put Cassandra on edge her claws popping out as a reflex as she narrowed her eyes on the newcomer, as he spoke however Cassandra managed to calm herself. He did not appear to be a threat but rather a man looking for aid it was a bit of a risk to just roll with something like this but the promise of money and supplies was a tempting one. What put her over on a decision was the aid that she had received from Darius earlier in the night, at an expense of himself he had sought to help her eat and before she could repay him he had gone.

Taking to her feet Cassandra crossed the room approaching the newcomer "Money and supplies are exactly the sort of things I'm interested in, you've got my attention so what's the proposition." She asked, with any luck it would be something nice and simple a bit of 'easy money'

That escalated quickly haha

Cassandra rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly as Durran brought up her failed endeavor at the knife game. "At the very least next time I'll make sure I get food BEFORE gambling away my money no matter how confident I am." Cassandra quickly found herself a bit disapointed, she had greatly hoped that she could use her skills at repair to her advantage here but evidently either the woman at the bar did not think she had the ability to come through on her end or the bar truly was better kept than most, Cassandra had gotten a bit used to being able to fix up a couple tables and damaged mugs and get herself a few free drinks and on occasion a meal. Today however was not such a day which meant trading was in order, she had a few options to work with, considering the fact the bar seemed to produce quality food there was a chance they might be willing to do a bit of a trade for the jar of honey she had back with Harley, she'd yet to obtain enough ingedients for anything worthwhile to use it on herself so trading it away for a meal and perhaps a bit more was certainly an option.

As Cassandra contemplated her next move the man that the woman behind the bar had been talking to chimed in pulling out a pair of rabbits and offering a trade, pelts for some whiskey and a meal for herself. Cassandra found herself in a rather surprising position, it was VERY rare that anyone offered her something with no obvious strings attached as finding a genuinely generous person out in the wastes was exceptionally rare. Now all that was really necessary was for the woman to accept the deal but Cassandra was grateful regardless "I.. Thank you, you are a very kind person to make such an offer to someone you don't even know the name of. If there is anything I can do to repay you say the word, my name is Cassandra." she said extending a mildly hesitant hand pulling her claws back as far as was possible in order to avoid accidentally harming the man.

Not sure if Catfolk with claws can retract them in any way despit having 'human' hands, if it is decided that this is not possible then simply ingore that bit I mostly imagine it as a sort of wolverine style thing.

Cassandra let out a content sigh, hostilities were quelled rather quickly by the musical talents of one of the bars patrons and a new arrival, a dwarf(by his stature Cassandra assumed him to be such) who regailed the bar with a few dwarvish songs, it kept the mood light and friendly especially as the man wearing all the pelts was then drawn into conversation with the Dwarf and another new arrival meaning his attention was drawn away from the horned man.

Not long after the singing stopped Cassandra found herself growing a bit hungry having forgotten all about feeding herself after getting caught up in the activities in the bar, the thrill of competition and the tenseness of the bar nearly descending into violence had been more than enough to quiet her stomach for a time but now it voiced its objections over how empty it was causing Cassandra to cringe slightly.

Catching the scent of one of the newcomers meals Cassandra found herself no longer in her seat and already moving to the bar itself, the food smelled quite good but good food was rarely particularly cheap and a bar such as this was unlikely to have need of her more clandestine skill set as a means of trade. But there was always actual physical trade and if she was lucky perhaps they might have something broken that might need fixing.

"Sorry to interrupt, but after all the excitement I find myself a bit hungry and I was hoping to place an order, anything will do really so long as it's mostly meat. Ideally I would hope that I could pay with the use of some of my skills, I am quite skilled at the repair of most anything I can get my hands on so long as I have my tools. If not I'm certain I have something in my bags that would be worth a meal." Cassandra said with a friendly smile hoping that the latter would be an option.

Updated Cassandra's block again in accordance with the fun new changes.

Hey Beowulf I know this is SUPER last minute but if you are around I have a quick question that I am about to PM you.

Only if you care about collateral damage! With a healthy lack of care for nature or your fellow man... or sometimes yourself fire is ALWAYS the answer!

Everything seemed to be spiraling a bit out of control, the only thing evidently keeping things somewhat in order was the unwillingness of those present to cause damage to the bar itself over what was at present simply unsubstantiated beliefs, the notion that something about the newcomer was just so off that it was driving a number of the patrons up the walls, it made Cassandra more than a little uncomfortable as she wasn't quite sure which side to place herself on. She'd seen more often than not this sort of attitude directed at perfectly innocent but 'strange' looking people, herself included though never to this extent.

But there seemed something just so utterly 'off' about the newcomer, she wouldn't go so far as the other woman had to outright claim it as a negative but something about the man just had her on edge. Thankfully the dark skinned man that had initiated the knife challenge reappeared, from where she did not know perhaps he had simply slipped off into the bar and thankfully he was making an effort to relieve the situation seeking some way of livening the mood with music while Yldrath suggested perhaps another go at the knife challenge again.

Normally Cassandra would have jumped at a chance of redemption over her earlier failings but adding KNIVES of all things to the situation seemed to her the fast way to actually increase problems, especially when adding a competitive edge to already fuming tempers. "Perhaps Yldrath it would be best to avoid that game fort he time being, perhaps once we've got some nice music and everyone's had a chance to lighten up over a few drinks." Cassandra suggested "Our new arrival might look a dangerous sort but looks can be rather deceiving. And if he's not the sort of man many of you are quick to think him you might very well drive him that way. If someone only ever expects to be treated like a monster then they are rather likely to become one." Cassandra said hoping to cool everyone's heels for a few moment.

"Personally a bit of music and dancing seems like a very good idea to me. Does anyone have any musical talents is the big question however?"

Cassandra gave her name earlier

Well so long as I'M not getting hit then everything's golden ehehe but if I make it into the group I've got some solid plans on keeping Cassandra safe despite her melee combat focus.

I like Baird's approach! Wont need any healing if they never get to hit us!*sharpens claws*

Also I just now noticed Oxana is a spellslinger and that's awesome, I think no matter the makup the part should end up rather interesting, especially with Sicarrius in the mix.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 I dont know why everyones freaking out he seems so nice! hahaha

Cassandra was unsure of the situation, on one hand she had felt a rather strong 'bad vibe' off the man and something about his scent just felt wrong... but he seemed at least for the moment to merely be interested in relaxing, she almost felt bad. While not necessarily met with such overwhelming distrust more than once she'd had to pack up and roll out of a town early because the people didn't like how she looked. A small frown formed on her face and she decided perhaps it best to just let things roll for the moment, if anyone gave the man TOO much grief before he did something 'wrong' she'd step in, the others seemed not intolerant towards herself so perhaps she could help bridge a gap.

For the moment anyway it appeared that the focus of the problem was between the new man and Baird, the wild man clearly seemed to feel more than anyone else that something was amiss with the newcomer, the dwarven woman was pointing at herself and the newcomer questionign the woman at the bar on what they were, Durran had gotten very quiet and seemed to simply be watching and waiting to see how things would play out, while Yldrath was outright welcoming the newcomer.

Cassandra decided it best to just remain calm and act as if all was normal she turned to look at the dwarven woman and smiled "I cant speak for out new arrival, but I am what is known as a Catfolk. We're known for our strong senses, and sharp claws." She said before turning slightly toward the newcomer who was investigating the menu. "So what brings you here guy? I think before you made you're big entrance that was what we were all talking about anyway." She said with any luck it would bring back the friendly conversation from earlier.

Ah, I was unsure on how we were dealing with such. I think I will edit Cassandra's inventory 'spend' the gold on things that would be worthwhile for trade in that case. And in hindsight perhaps Sense motive would have been a good choice, there are just too many skills! I need ranks in all the things! Also No Yldrath I did not, the idea for motorcycle-mounted cavalier just sort of came to me shortly after I read the mechanic trait.

*Finally* PM'd full back story rather than just the outline from before. Hope you like it Beowulf.

With the destruction of the target most of those assembled were slowly starting to split off into there own conversations, Durran with the pelt coated man who had destroyed the target, perhaps a bit unfortunate as it ended any future chance at the game but she wasn't about to complain it had done an excellent job of diverting attention and with the small woman that she could only assume was either of Dwarven blood or just a ill proportioned human assuming the price of 'entry' being five gold it left her fairly solidly off the hook, a loss of five gold was MUCH better than a loss of ten. Cassandra found herself remaining curious of Yldrath and as he appeared to be making no moves to take up a table she would remain where she was as well.

"I have to say Yldrath I find myself rather curious what it is you do. You say you are a teacher of sorts and yet what you teach is not of a generally liked sort, what exactly might be so troubling and yet be something you evidently take some pride in if you're willing to at least mention it." Cassandra inquired if there was one thing that could rival her love of her bike and the thrill of a heist it was secrets even ones utterly irrelevant to herself or her goals caught her interest, some could be used to an advantage while others well if it was a secret then generally it was something interesting at the very least.

As she awaited a response the bar doors swung open but unlike the last few entrances Cassandra found her gaze drawn to this one, her keen nose catching wind of a strange scent something so utterly foreign she lacked the words to truly describe it. What she found when her gaze was cast upon the new arrival was a being ripped straight from nightmare, his presence alone had her fur bristling. The rather terrifying man spoke with a voice smooth and almost soothing enough to ease the unnerved state Cassandra found herself in but the scent was enough to keep her wits about her.

Cassandra grinned a Yldrath as he spoke, he seemed a friendly if a bit... odd man and the vague way that he spoke of what exactly his talents were despite relating them to teaching did a fine job of perking her interests "Not everyone can be a marksman, the world needs all sorts to keep itself running. Teaching is important, without people who can teach nobody can learn, as for people not liking what you do" Cassandra paused to shrug and smirk "people dont much like what I do either" she said grinning wide.

As yet another challenger approached and set down her money Cass couldent help but cheer internally, perhaps a chance to turn her luck around somewhat "Oh yes five gold in and the best shot takes it all home" she said with a nod "Almost forgot my own now that you mention it" Cassandra said drawing the gold from her pouch and setting it alongside the newcomers gold

Cassandra jumped slightly as one of the others took his first shot and slammed the dagger solidly into the target with FAR more force than entirely necessary, shortly therafter it became evident he believed the game to be a matter of damaging the target rather than skill of thr throw and yet still his hits landed better than her own.

But Durran managed a quick subject shift asking what brought the motly crew that had assembled at the target here. "Mostly passing through honestly, might do some trading if the center has something that catches my eye" she said with a noncommital shrug.

cassandra let out a low sigh as a new challenger approached taking up a set of knives himself and of course fate chose such a time to make a true fool out of her for betting the bulk of her welth as even with one knife whiffing entirely and clattering to the floor his overall score remained higher than her own. It hadnt been THAT long since shed done this sort of thing why was it that tonight of all night her luck appeared to be running dry.

a small smile rreturned to her face at Durrans words and his purchasing of a round for them, it didnt quite make up for the looming loss of coin but it certainly couldent help "it appears you might be right Durran and it appears I let my poor showing affect me enough to forget introducing myself. The names Cassandra" she said as the drinks arrived taking a drink from the mug Cassandra awaited the dark skinned mans attempt to see just how much fate wished to mock her. The drink was good enough certainly not the best but FAR from the worst she had ever had.

"What do you bring to tha table to say yo' skill ees bettah than his?"

Cassandra smirked understanding well enough what the man was trying to say, the ball was in her court to set the bet for there little competition that certainly put things in an interesting position, she'd half hoped that the man would make an overblown bet out of drunken bravado that she could take advantage of but needing to put up her own bet meant he'd probably be a bit more likely to want to SEE the money. "Alright then big guy, assuming you've got the cash for it I'll put up ten gold pieces." She said slipping a single piece out of her belt pouch and rolling it along her knuckles before returning it to the pouch. It was perhaps a bit MUCH considering her current monetary situation but if he could match it then that would double her current savings.

Cassandra paused as Durran introduced himself and explained the rules, he had no actual interest in participating himself a fact that made Cassandra rather sad considering how off his game the man appeared to be as even with a few drinks in him he'd done reasonably well, certainly better than many she'd seen try, better even than some who made attempts while sober. "Pretty reasonable, much as I'd like your money I can respect a man who knows when to stay his hand." She said giving Durran a nod before picking up a set of knives for herself twisting them around in her grip to check the balance.

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Total: 21

Cassandra looked agape at the board as all three knives managed to hit the exact same spot now if only they had been ANYWHERE near the bullseye then she might have felt a lot more confident in her chances, she knew she still technically had a chance but not exactly the best one.

Cassandra let out a content sigh, it appeared her arrival had as she had hoped gone unnoticed everyone was far too busy having there fun to care about the hooded stranger as she slipped in and that was just fine with her. She'd remained at her place against the wall silently taking the scene about the bar in and finding it rather enjoyable. It was nice to see people having a good time. Just as Cassandra had been about to make her way over the the bar itself to grab a drink and then perhaps find an actual seat for herself a rather amusing scene halted her.

A large dark skinned man swooped across the bar with a surprising amount of grace for someone who had likely had a bit to drink, he took up one of the barmaids in a brief dance before producing a piece of gold, the shimmer of the metal in the light was more than enough to garner Cassandra's attention and that of some of the other patrons.

He spoke with a thick accent that made his words a touch difficult to follow but his gestures made up for that rather easily, a knife throwing challenge. A small smirk spread across Cassandras face at the thought of the easy money, best out of three put the odds even better in her favor. The only problem was it put her squarely in the center of attention.

But money was money and at present her pockets were feeling a bit TOO light, and perhaps earning a bit of extra cash the 'honest way' might even be fun, pushing off the wall Cassandra would make her way across the room pulling down her hood as she did and flashing the man a grin "I cant pass up a challenge like this, especially if that lovely gold is on the line" Cassandra said as she neared, with her hood down it was plain to see that she was perhaps one of the more exotic members of the bar her as there was no way of hiding her very feline features, a coat of dull gray fur covering her from head to toe, piercing amber eyes with slitted iris', and a pair of feline ears perched atop her head twitching at every little noise.

To hide her features Cassandra wore heavier clothing, a thick leather jacket she had stolen a few years ago from another biker when the idiot tried to con her out of the gas she had needed to get Harley moving, beneath which was an rather old hooded sweat-shirt patched together haphazardly over years of use its primary purpose being it's hood, a set of similarly patchwork jeans though clearly far more effort was put into these as all of the patching was done with (mostly) like-colored black material.

Cassandra hummed quietly to herself as she climbed off Harley giving the metal behemoth a soft pat as she hooked her helmet onto one of the side bags and stuffed the keys into the breast pocket of her jacket. The trip had been a rather long one with less stops than she would have wanted and all she really wanted in this moment was a good drink and a bit of time off the roads. Drawing up her hood Cassandra began making her way to the supercenter, with any luck she'd make it to the bar without anyone picking up on what she was.

The starring did not ALWAYS bother her it just got a bit grating on the nerves after a while, in a bar though many people were there to relax and with luck were less likely to make a fuss. Finding herself at the bar Cassandra couldn't help but smirk to herself at her luck, a quick scan of the room yielded that she was not the only oddity present, at least one other patron was drawing the occasional look and perhaps that would be all that she needed to keep a low profile. Not wanting to draw the eyes off the other woman Cassandra lingered near one of the walls occupying herself by keeping an eye on the game of knife throwing for the time being.

Sounds about right. In close combat it will be treated essentially as a horse, but it will be able to partake in chase scenes (which is what driving rules are for) at high speeds if need be.

Awesome I'll tweak my equipment to account for this.
