Good Morning,
I come to speak to my Fellow Sedalians and those residing in or around Pettis County. A group of us have decided to reinvigorate the gaming community in our area. Twice a month we plan on getting together talking games and discussing campaign Ideas. That is when we are not meeting to conquer evil and save the world. We stick with mostly 3.5 and possibly pathfinder. And some of our group is very fond of first and second edition. We are even debating checking out 5th Edition that is releasing soon. We know there are other tabletop gamers out there and we know there are those interested but not sure where to stat. So we have created this group to give everyone a place to meet, get to know one another and have a good time. As we grow so will the rewards of being a member. With that said I hope that if you are in our area you will join us. We just want to see the gamers of the area unite and bring life back into our gaming community. We have many experienced DM's (Myself not included in that. I'm still new so I will never claim to know what I'm doing when running a game as I never have. We learn from our mistakes after all) We currently are preparing for our first campaign to be played at either Game Zone Comics and Games or at the DM's home(group is nearly full for Campaign 1). Hope to hear from you soon
Disclaimer: This will be, for the most part, a Face to Face group. Roll 20 will only be used in times of dire need. So be prepared to travel if you are not in the immediate local area.

So I want to play a gypsy. I have researched till I was blue in the face.
I want her to be good with bows, Bardic abilities of course for the performance side. But I'm not sure how to go about this since the gypsy itself is a archetype and 3rd party if I read right.... (At least I think)
I have faith that there are much smarter folks here on the boards that might be able to help me with this. here is what I have so far
My goal is to become a bow wielding harrow reading gypsy. That is where I am stuck.

I'm looking for a permanent home for my weekly Pathfinder games. I will do D&D but Im going to be honest I don't know much of anything about D&D aside from the few 4E games I have played.
I would like a local group that plays with an online setting. (To ease the time zone constraints) But it doesnt have to be. I really would like a face to face group if possible. But I cannot travel. Or leave my area so if you are not in Pettis county Missouri will have to decline. I'm a caregiver so locally is the best I can give right now.
I dont mind homebrew but I rather not mix the systems. I'm still "learning" and I rather not be anymore confused than I already am.
My last group mixed it up so much I had to literally unlearn everything and spend 2 days relearning. Also if a problem arises within our group I would appreciate if a group meeting is held and the issue is discussed rather than turning your back on the rest of the group leaving us as casualties of war. It isn't fair to the group as a whole for you to just walk away from everyone when only one person is the problem. I blocked the last GM to do that. Weather they see it as the problem or not is immaterial.

My only other thing is.. Yes I am a girl, no I am not interested. That that has to be said is obvious. I don't want to be made to feel uncomfortable because you see a chick that may be easy. I have blocked 2 from this site for that as well

Listen, I just want to play pathfinder or any other game for that matter. And I want to do it in a fun atmosphere and I want to not feel horrible after it is all said and done because I am not enjoying myself because I am constantly under fire for the choices I make or the paths I take.. Its all I want. And all I ask for. I can get douchebaggery anywhere, I just not looking for that.

I'm a gamer that wants to game.
I'm available Monday, Tuesday,Friday right now and thats it.
I use roll 20 usually but I also have klooge and fantasy grounds
Thanks for your time.

Do you ever get tired of finding an amazing community site only to find out its luster has fizzled to the point that even the admins have given up? Have no fear! I will be looking forward to giving you that site you so richly deserve.
Table Top gamers deserve that go to place. The place where they can meet and converge and discuss all their favorite settings and systems and even find a party to adventure with. We just seem to lack that anymore. And when we do it is hard to weed out the trouble makers. You know the kind I speak of. The ones that can single handedly rip your adventuring party apart.
And if you dare mention this to the higher powers HOW DARE YOU!
Not here. Here you will have an outlet to call out that one gamer that, regardless of the situation, is constantly throwing a barrier up in your party. Being consistently late, or even no showing.
Honesty is the key to a Tabletop group surviving an ever changing landscape.
Surely we can all understand that, maybe the setting just isn't peaking their interest, or they are having a hardship at home, or maybe they are very ill. Tell us. Be honest. "Hey guys, I'm so sorry but I am having some issues here at home that is keeping me away." NO PROBLEM! We can write you back in the story whenever you see fit to return. Real life comes first and is most important."
See how easy that is? Now sure not all groups will respond like this. When that is the case. Jump into LFG, when you are able to play again, and find a better group.
Be specific on what you are seeking game wise? Certain storyline? Setting? All of that matters when looking for a group.
Are you only able to play Tuesday's and if so will you need to afk every so often due to a responsibility at home?
When you are specific on what you seek it makes finding the right group even easier.

And most of all. Have fun. Table Top gaming is the greatest way to game because you can make it your own.

Happy Gaming and Huzzah!
