Are these double sided or are they flat/smooth on the back side and if they are double sided is the same imprint on both sides or is it a different design?

Sovereign Court

I ordered a gnome mini from my FLGS over a month ago but they are having problems getting it from their supplier so last night I decided to take a Warhammer goblin and re-tool him to (hopefully) pass for a gnome.

Front View

Back View.

I actually painted him flesh tones although you really can't tell from the pictures and I used some bags and canisters I had left over from a dwarf battalion to kind of simulate bombs and pouches since he is an Alchemist. Oh, and I tried to make the thing he is holding up look like a bomb or potion but it didn't really come out how I had envisioned it.

Let me know what you think.

Sovereign Court

I was unsure if I should post this here or in the general rules area but since he is a society character I figured this would be a good place to start.

I made a wizard and want to multi-class him into Alchemist I'm sure it's kinda silly but I started him as a wizard because of fluff, not for any rules or game purpose beyond the back story I created for him , this past session saw him reach level 2 but since we were pressed for time I didn't have a chance to change anything so I just played the next scenario with him still as a level 1 wizard. Now I have time to change him and am not sure about some things and have no one to ask.

1.) Since I am going into a new class does he get an extra feat besides the ones for being an alchemist? Example; alchemist get throw anything, brew potion, mutagen, and alchemy just for being an alchemist, do I get a feat outside of that like I did when I created him as a wizard?

2.) Can I still use and scribe new spells to my spell book? and can I add the ones I already know to my alchemy book if applicable?

3.) A bit off topic from the rules questions - Since I was playing a wizard and needed no armor and a gnome wizard at that, I got robes, a light crossbow, some bolts, and a masterwork Alchemy kit as my beginning purchases. I haven't bought or upgrade anything since then and after running 4 scenario's (one of them a tier 4-5) I currently have 2900 gold and no clue what to buy with it.

Thanks in advance for your time and your help.

I just got and read the Core Rule Book and for whatever reason the idea of playing a sea going wizard kept popping up in my head.

My thoughts were of a wizard (or sorcerer) who use to work on an ocean going ship. Possibly a pirate chaser or even just a ship who's captain had more money than sense.

Basically his role would be to help the ship either sink or capture other ships or in the case of a rich captain, to avoid pirates/bad weather/sea monsters. Doing things like creating fog or causing distant sounds or illusions to either help avoid conflict or to cause pirates to run aground. In the case of a fight, meteor storm and fireball come to mind for clearing enemy ships decks and allowing the crew of his ship to board the other vessel easily.

Elemental(water) Bloodline for sorcerer, Evocation School for a pirate hunter wizard and maybe illusion or conjuration schools for the wizard working for a rich captain.

For skills I would think Knowledge - Geography(oceans), profession - sailor, Swim, maybe perform or slight of hand for entertaining the crew while at sea?

Feats I have no idea about although from what I can tell feats are more class based than fluff

I'm not sure how this would work with land based adventures, heh, I'm extremely new to Pathfinder (I have yet to even play my first game) so I'm not even sure if this concept would work at all but it's the thought I had so I'm posting here to see if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on making this a playable character.

Comments, suggestions, tips, hints and criticisms welcome.

I work for a place that sells Paizo products and have to spend time on paizo.com getting descriptions and info about said products and that has made me want to play PF. The down side is that when I asked about PF at my FLGS I was told that the only thing played there is D&D 4E.

I just got a little chunk of change for my birthday and I'm going to use it to buy the Core Rule Book and the Game Mastery Guide and I'm going donate plasma to get the APG.

I get the feeling that I'll end up having all the books and not having anyone to run a game with besides my family, which is ok because my wife has expressed an interest in the game and the kids will try any kind of game at least once.

That being said, does anyone have any suggestions on an AP I could run that would capture and maintain their interest and let them have fun in the game? Their ages are 8, 11, 12 and 15, All Girls, although they have grown up watching the SAW movies and Nightmare on Elm St. so blood and guts don't bother them.

Also any suggestions on how to make things easier for the younger ones to understand, would be very helpful.

Oh, and any tips for my first attempt at GM'ing would be excellent as well.
