I know one situation where my Pali of Sheyln and the Other Pali in our emerald spire party were help hostage by a baddie who help two of our party members (@-3 but stablised hostage)

We looked at the two players and pointed out that is another player , who played a Pali of Torag , had been playing they’d be dead..

I just feel it runs counter to the whole ‘divine champion’ vibe a paladin gives off for me

My suggestion?

Multiclass, either dip Swash for a level or two or dip Pali.

I dipped two level of Pali and did the rest as Inspired Blade (at least to 14th, contemplating more Pali or a dip into Devoted Muse. Not sure as yet.

As for Bladed Brush.. I like it, would be nice to be a Dev Muse with it but the ability it provides is just too much for a single feat and I figured it would never make the cut. I mean it lets you use a glaive with swashbuckling abilities, change reach AND let’s you finesse it?

Even if Slashing grace doesn’t apply, that’s a lot of good in one feat

I have a character that speaks like 35 languages with a primary focus on anything you might encounter in the Emerald aspire. (Still bummed that you can't get Aboleth,)

The action economy involved in this precludes it functioning in a majority of situations. Move to draw scroll, Standard to activate, touch range. Suggest instead using First Aid Gloves if you're in possession of a copy of the Pathfinder Society Primer

the 'oh hell yeah' factor of those gloves is amazing. You can't believe how many lives I've seen it save.

Something like 3 sets of gloves got used in Emerald Spire.
