Neither of us have Knowledge Local either :P Sighing Caldazar bemoans "You grow less and less your image by the day Gorumite... does the Lord in Iron approve the cuckold?" a slight hint of sardonic play alight in Caladazar's voice... but only enough to make Tal wonder if the words are meant to provoke, demean or amuse. "We should return to our rathole if only to ensure both privacy and an enclosed space to deal with any fallout."

Neither Caldazar or Pollux have Knowledge (Nobility) :P Caldazar shrugs "What you do with the coin is of your own concern... but I neither know of anyone who can legitimize your intent, nor do I think it wise. You want your wife to be safe? - invest in thicker walls and a stouter lock"

This has potential at least the main character's showing the right amount of vim and vigour.

Fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 Caldazar says nothing, though he can be heard gagging and dry heaving upon the floor. The foul spell robbing him of utility. Gritting teeth he urges himself to resist, calling upon the Bloodied Rose for fortitude. Declare judgement of resistance...

Flatly and in level tone "You showboat in the arena... your opponent may very well kill you. You focus, and do what needs be done without pandering to the bloodthirsty bastards in the crowd... that gives you the best chance of walking out of here. Don't underestimate what you may need to face in there."

Caldazar still needs to level The close bearded once was cross-dresser remains relatively quiet and reserved as discussions flow between Lady Drovenge and their sacrificial tin can man. A slight smile does cross his face as he remembers when recently their paths crossed another of house Drovenge... and his small part in seeing a noble cast down. A nascent chuckle is quelled though as he also remembers those companions of the time that were no longer with them. Strangely to the devotee of Milani he feels the loss of the fanatic in service of the Rough Beast more keenly... at least Meraxilar could be relied upon to act in a manner in keeping with his deity. He did not trust the Sarenran, and though Tal had shed blood beside him he felt no depth of kinship. As for Pollux... the less said the better, though Caldazar coughed as unbidden a peculiar taste of cloves began to well up within his mouth. Tired and rough eyes regarded the spectacle that would unfold and he merely sighed "Peace Tal, your blade will drink deep soon enough... save your voice for the adulation that might follow your victory" a taste of scorn finding it's way onto one word spoken before deadpanning "If you perform well enough Krona may bless you with another kiss."

As both a heads up and an FYI - I shall be wending my way on holiday starting Monday, and will be out of the country from roughly 2-3 weeks give or take (through to about 10th April). During such time my online time shall be curtailed from what I'm usually capable - which should engender a reduction in verbosity and potentially some unreliability when it comes to posting rates and speed. I'm more that happy to be DMPC'd whenever it's appropriate, but am hopefuly that I should be able to keep up with all the PbPs that I'm currently playing in during the time down-under.

Caldazar looks upon it with mostly disdain... and a partial degree of interest. Without blanching he flatly states in Infernal "I am the one that has the power to put your head back in a box... so I will begin with the questions. What is your name, and what has Dargentu done to you?"
