About Caedric Lasfallen
Background
Caedric Lasfallen never knew his real parents. Abandoned on the steps of a temple to Abadar as a newborn, he grew up on the streets of Korvosa. He learned early on to rely on himself for what he needed and what he needed, he took. He avoided direct conflict and, after some early escapades ended badly, he took to planning every caper meticulously with every contingency mapped out and options for every move. He's still not sure how he managed to take a dose of shiver, he thinks someone slipped it into his drink one night. He was quickly addicted and went on riskier and riskier capers to get the money to support his habit. The end came when he collapsed in Bailer's Retreat and and almost shook himself to death. One of the barmaids, Fat Trudy, nursed him back to health and he slowly recovered. Trudy told him about Gaedren Lamm and how he threatened serving girls into giving doctored drinks to unsuspecting patrons to get them hooked on shiver. As soon as he is completely recoverd, Caedric will find Gaedren Lamm and make him pay.
