His parents Faol and Brina Wolfevale, a human man and his Elven descended wife, were great woodsmen who hunted and foraged the wilds to trade with the Villages and lived happily on the outskirts of the Human settlements. They were especially happy when they had their First Born Son, whom they named Caedmon in keeping with the Wolfevale Tradition.
He suspected that Orcish Raiders slew his parents when they disappeared after his 9th Winter. He took up his Father’s Bow & his Mother’s Spear. Soon though he lost his way. He was fortunately found by druids before he completely starved. The Druids were a subordinate group of the Druids of the Henge. They were all Elven or Half-Elven and seen the faint sign of Elven blood in him. Seeing this they took him in and took care of him and trained him. Under their tutelage he learned hunting and dealing with animals. Unfortunately for him, he was almost as bad with Animals as he was with People.
His Natural Talents, that seem to have been inherited from his parents, led to him following the Path of the Ranger. It was on one of his early hunting, and training, expeditions that he discovered the truth of his parents’ deaths. They went to protect a local Village that was under attack by the Orcs. After learning this he started training to fight against the Orcs. His hatred for the Orcs is so great that he only ever curses when it comes to the Orcs.
