We have just got to the end of Varnhold Vanishing, fighting the Cyclop Lich Voldakai, we sort of know he was going to be hard.

Final fight, 2 zombies, a souleater, a deamon and the lich, looks to be a hard fight until the lich throws out some DC 35 spells?

How do you handle DC 35 saves at level 9. Maybe I should put this in the advise section.

We have been playing Kingmaker for about 1 year, up to Varnhold Vanishing, just hit the blockhouse.

Just want to report it was a great encounter, after quickly clearing the first level we advance up to face 9 spriggans and the boss. The sneaky gits where all blur buffed and attack from three sides.

The party is five, Dwarf Fighter (double slice), Elf Paladin (polearm), Lizardman Druid (dromaeosaur companion), Elf Kineticist (fire/earth) and Elf Thaumaturge (Amulet, Regalia).

Basically the map of the tower meant the tanks (fighter, paladin and Dromaeosaur) face three each, with thaumaturge providing scroll healing and the kineticist range damage.

Again a great night of fun in pathfinder.


Reading the below rules from the handbook, RP can not be accumulated and must be spend on XP?

Page 38 Resource Points
Any RP not spent by the end of that turn convert to kingdom
XP at a rate of 1 RP to 1 XP.

Page 43 Resource Collection
(RP remaining at the end of your turn can be converted
into kingdom Experience Points.)

Page 45 SURPLUS RP XP AWARDS
In addition, any RP that remains unspent is now converted
to kingdom XP on a 1 to 1 ration, to a maximum of 120 XP per
Kingdom turn.

We are using milestones for kingdom level as suggested in another thread.
