Question - do you get four times your skill ranks at first level or not? I haven't been able to find that in the core rules, but I read it somewhere else during someone's character generation step by step post. So, I wasn't sure. What page is that on, if it is true?

I have recently acquired a lot of Pathfinder product and I'm ready to dive in. I'm confused on some things though.

What is the difference between Chronicles and Campaign Settings?

What is the difference between Companino and Player Companion?

I think the Adventure Path is a great idea.

I'm trying to go through and see what is made stricly for Pathfinder system and what is made for 3.5. I realize the 3.5 stuff can be converted. Trying to figure out the easiest way to look at these different products and know with a glance what is made for the Pathfinder system specifically.

It is a gorgeous product. I find myself just staring at all of the great art.
