Background:
Brother Kendrick was born under auspicious signs on the first of Arodus, and seemed destined for great deeds in the service to Iomedae. Enrolled with the priesthood at an early age, he quickly showed great ability to channel the sacred magic bestowed by the Inheritor. While his heart is good and his faith strong, Brother Kendrick has at times shown a lack of discipline. This came to a head when the abbot to who he was assigned assigned him shrine guard duty as penance for his frequent daydreaming. An unfortunate incident involving him leaving his post to help some young children find their lost cat the subsequent theft of the donation box created a minor scandal. After paladins, investigations and the assorted fallout, Brother Kendrick was relieved of his duties. He finds himself contemplating the life of an adventurer.
