Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Even in the best case scenario (with Vittore present), I think there are no four of us.
Was nice while it lasted, thanks anyway.
Brother Curbulo logging out.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Roll call!
I say that there are still 4 players, we continue. If less than 4, the Tau will win the day...
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Do we follow with the people that is still here? Do we call it quits?
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Glad to hear it, Brother Vittore!
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Who is still on? I feel we are losing steam here...
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Initiative roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Sorry to see you go, good luck.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Yes, back to the airlock (we know the way at least) and outside to the Tau Ship.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Move out team! Time to show the Xenos the Emperor's glory."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
"Servitor. Answer: Command. Code Word: Astartes"
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
"Servitor, query: How is the command given?"
I think command is better, if we can do it remotely... if not, give us just enough time to clear the premises. How long did it takes us to get here, Browman?
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Good thinking, Corbulo escorts the Servitor in the middle of the group now.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Please let me know when a minute is available, so he can clear it.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Has Corbulo time to repair his Bolter? Can he? What do he needs to roll?
"Let's continue to the prime location, brothers. May the emperor watch over us."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo motions his brothers to keep advancing.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Sorry, I didn't read the "Player's turn" post!
Corbulo drops his Bolter, and draws his pistol.
He lets a couple shots towards the nearest Tau.
Using Bolter Mastery Solo Mode. Not considering:
- If Short Range (<15m) +10 BS
- Into Melee -20 BS
- Called Shot -20 BS
¿Question: Can he Aim?
Attack BS 81 (+10 Bolter Mastery and +10 Semi Auto): 1d100 ⇒ 38
Damage Pen 4: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Damage Pen 4: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Are we waiting somebody else? It's Tau's turn?
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Xeno Marmalade! Well done Vultur!
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo mentally thank the Emperor. He is certain that if his hand hadn't stop the bolt, he would have injured one of his brothers.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Initiative: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Corbulo, from the back, will wait and see if his brothers can deal with the Xenos. If any of them keep standing at the end of their Brothers attack he will try a single shot with a Kraken round to the nearest surviving xenos not in melee (or in melee if no other exists), in the head.
Using Bolter Mastery Solo Mode and Red Dot Sight. Not considering:
- If Short Range (<75m) +10 BS
- Into Melee -20 BS
- Called Shot -20 BS
¿Question: Can he Aim?
Attack BS 81: 1d100 ⇒ 99
Damage Pen 8: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
I don't like the sound the Bolter just did :S
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo asks him where the closest power storage, explosive ammunition deposit or critical system is (life-support for example) .
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo covers the next door with her bolter (the the passage) while the others eat the Xenos.

Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Can we use the tools to fix the hole? That can buy us time... They think a meteor hit them, we can try to keep them thinking that for a while longer.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo waits for Vittore to take care of the Xenos, quietly and with extreme prejudice.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
I hope we find a place to put the explosives on the way to the Xyclorian ship, we then enter the Xyclorian ship, do what the Marines do best, get back to out pod, and back to fortress Erioch.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo will cover the rearguard, having the Servitor in front of him.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo signals the team to move towards the Xyclorian ship.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo signals the team to keep going into the ship.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo, after the point Marines, take the Servitor inside.
"Servitor, query: Where do we need to plant the explosives? "
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo nods to Vultur, while also signalling Vittore.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Over the Vox Channel Corbulo warns:
"Be careful with the decompression, Brothers"
He keeps the Servitor away from the external hatch, to prevent it to get hit with items getting out to the space.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo seems unable to open the airlock.
"Brother Vittore, can you please try to force it open with your Chainsword?"
He also questions the Servitor if it is possible to put the explosives on the outside of the ship to destroy it, without entering it.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
I don't think any of use have Tech Use. I'll roll anyway.
1d100 ⇒ 26
If a fate point is useful here... I will use it.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo tries to open the airlock, while reciting an Inperial prayer.
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
No, I hope we can set the explosives on the outside (Remember the Maine!)
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo nods to Argus.
"We are the mailed fist of the Emperor. May he guide on our mission. Deploy!"
I think the plan is go on EVA to the Tau ship to put the explosives there first. Is that doable?
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Bother Corbulo chants a quick litany before answering.
"Towards the foul Xyclorians Xenos ship. From there we move to plant the explosives in the other Ship, and we finish cleaning the Xyclorian one. Finally back to the assault pod, and back to base, Emperor willing."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
"We will use the means the Emperor have provided for us, Brother, a cold inertia assault pod, with a standard lascutter to enter the inner hull. Please pay attention the next time we got a briefing, so we don't need to remind you of it. And please, focus on the mission ahead."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
"Thank you brother, may the Emperor smile upon you."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo thank the captain for the information, and asks for them to be launched 13 hours before the rendezvous, in order to keep the Stealth of the ship and have a little margin of safety.
Then he leads his brother into the ship Chapel so they can perform the required battle rites and take the solemn oath for this mission.
"And they shall know no fear!"
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
"You have a point, Brother. On the other hand maybe the Xenos would be intrigued by the other Ship not responding. But I concur, we can't risk the primary mission. Let's wait until the talks have begun."
Corbulo recites a small litany.
"Maybe we can use the demo charges to destroy the Tau vessel, and while it destroy the Xenos we infiltrate the other one?"

Ultramarines Tactical Marine
While on the way there Brother Corbulo insist that the litanies are performed and attended by all his brothers. He also explains to them that they must work together like a unit.
"While we are in the mission I don't want to hear any vox traffic that is not a useful suggestion. While we are doing the Emperor's will we don't need for any of you to question each other if we are not proposing anything better. So if you are only going to brag about your previous accomplishments, please keep it for yourselves. If you are only going to criticize, and not improve, please keep it for yourselves. If you are to question one of your brothers ideas, I beg of you to do it in a correct and respectful manner, proper for an Adeptus Astartes, and doing it with a better idea. Please share your insights and ideas with the rest, but do it in a constructive way. We are all the Emperor's chosen, and we don't need to try to show us stronger or better than the rest. We are all brothers here. We are all a team. We should work together, as our father, The Emperor, commands us."
At the arrival in the proximity of the Xyclorian ship, Brother Corbulo, ask them all to join in a litany, and then decide his next move.
"BROTHER" - He marks the title - "Argus, The Codex Astartes indicates is better to deal with the enemy one at a time, when possible. I propose we board and take over the xenos ship, and deal with the Tau in kind when they arrive. Do any of you have a better idea? If not, I propose we act as soon as the battle rites are performed, so we have more time to prepare for the other foul xenos ship."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
I say yes.
Can help join "avatar-less" for now?
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Corbulo keeps his cool.
"Forgive me, brother, if I gave you the wrong impression, but Iusiurandum in Gloria is a sacred oath we Battle Brothers, asking for the Emperor's blessing, do before a mission, giving ourselves up to achieve the missions result for his, not ours, greater glory. "
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
"The Codex Astartes mandates the most veteran warrior should lead. I have been blessed with the Emperor's Blessing for XXX years. If no one else has been doing the Emperor's will for a longer time, I will do it. I also think this would be a good mission to make an Oath for Glory."
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
Vittore beat me to it. BTW : the Astartes power armor includes the mag boots, so you don't need an extra pair. So that leaves us with 65 extra requisition...
Any thoughts on the leader and oath?
Ultramarines Tactical Marine
We still need Vittore to get equipped, and he has 15 extra "pooled" requisition from the squad.
How many of us are? I only see 5 of us...
About the leader, Corbulo, as Ultramarine, has bonus, but I am afraid I am a novice, and Corbulo only has 40 in Fellowship, so maybe I am not the best option. But if there is nobody better, I can do it.
