Caibel moves closer to the group, memories of the professor coming back up. What the murder said concerned him. Something wasn't right, but he couldn't figure it out. He was originally moving closer to Seranel, but he was actually heading towards Lythra, and this surprises him, but it didn't matter since someone from the group may have some insight about this.

Caibel bows his head in grievance as his friend is lowered into the ground. At the same time he was paying close attention to his surroundings due to the rather startling encounter moments before. He was keeping an eye out for any ravens as well as any more potential problems, one hand was resting on his blade, the people here seemed to be too superstitious, with his other hand he pulled his hood tighter to conceal his horns.

(...That roll though)

Caibel doesn't notice anything but the two leaving and along after Seranel, to their room for the night.
Caibel is curious about his roommate, but he'll wait till morning to do anything. As far as he's concerned, Seranel is the one he likes the most. He found a comfortable looking area, and settled in to sleep for the night, excited to see what events would unfold tomorrow and what his birds had to say.

Hey, perception checks: roll after you make the thing or will my previous one work?

Dark life? She must've been involved with necromancy, demons, crime, or some sort of taboo lifestyle. Lythra is obviously guarding something, and this Seranel is shady, even when compared to myself.
Turning his attention away from Magnus and towards Seranel, Caibel was rather intrigued by his initiative and curious by what he was looking for here in the library. He moved his position to be the opposite side of the library from Seranel and began looking through the books, searching for any books relevant to the conversations that he and the professor had.
"I take it that the Professor was a very charismatic person, judging by what you two have said. A pity he never talked about his exploits with others that he had been with during all of our meetings, but secrets do keep the game of life moving on." Caibel silently laughing to himself about that last part.

Noticing the fear in Cairath's eyes, Caibel couldn't help but smile.
She's afraid of me, for fighter to be scared of something like myself isn't something you see everyday. Foolish girl, I can use this to my advantage. She's must have some story behind her, but she's irrelevant when it comes to wolf woman, but I'll humor her for the time being.
"I'm called many names, but for the sake of convenience, you may call me Caibel. So tell me, Lythra wasn't it? How is it that you came to know our friend the Professor?"

"So he's like a familiar? Or a companion? Fascinating creature he is! I've never seen one so big before, he must be quite the fighter." Caibel moves from the door and stands about ten feet away from Magnus, examining him from a safe distance. My animal friends are always too busy to stick around... You're fortunate to have such a loyal friend."

If it is alright with everyone else I'll be willing to share a bedroom. If here is nothing else to discuss, let's retire for the night and prepare for a busy day. Thank you Kendra for your hospitality.
With that being said , Caibel moves to entrance of the library, waiting to be escorted to his room for the night, but willing to wait for any conversations that might happen.

Caibel is taken in by the size of the library, he's only seen libraries that were made of mismatched sets, yet the Professor's library was fascinating to be in. Such exotic guests were here tonight, with that and this library, Caibel barely heard Lythra speak to him. He was to fixated on trying to figure out what Lythra was, she couldn't know that he didn't know what she was, not knowing would be a disadvantage. Hopefully Kendra could help shed some light on her, or even the kind Doctor who entered. Though Falsinger is an interesting being to be here, but then again, everyone here was different in their own way.
The library sure filled up fast, but what was going to be the reason of everyone gathering here? Surely something about the burial, or why us in particular were invited... The Professor was known to have fascinating companions throughout his travels, but what makes all of us special? Our race, talents, homelands maybe?

How do you type out the dice roll expressions to roll? I cannot get the hang of it.

Caibel follows after Lythra due to his own desire to see the library, yet he was oddly drawn to Lythra, something about her was different, and it unsettled him as well as fascinated him. He stayed fifteen feet behind her due to her wolf could be very territorial of her. He also made note of how the Professor had strange taste in friends. The stone that Seranel gave Lythra was interesting, but not as interesting as the library. Who knew what kind of knowledge the Professor had stored in there.

Caibel nods his head at Kendra, "My condolences M'lady. Your father was a good man and he will be missed in Isger. He brought an uplifting atmosphere to my rather dreary homeland. I would love to see his library, his intelligence was one of the many qualities that I enjoyed from him."

To the rest of the guests, "It's a pleasure to meet other acquaintances of the late Doctor, what fascinating people you must be to catch his attention."

With that being said, Caibel retreats back into the darker areas of the room.

Caibel is 28 years old. Side note: who all has been greeted or is known by the NPCs in the manor?

Caibel emerges from the shadows from a nearby alley, having watched the manor for some time. He pulled his hood over his horns a bit more due to his hatred of getting them wet. A raven had informed him of the Professor's daughter, and he wished to learn more about his deceased friend. He pushes forward to the gate, opening it, and knocks on the great doors of the manor. When the doors opened, he entered and decided to wait in the shadows of the house, trying to stay out of the way of any other guests due to his past, he has learned that even if he hides his appearance, people always found out what he was and despised him for it.
