IF you are concerned about her coming across as submissive, don't use a full kneeling - have her on one knee. That gives a greater feel of control. As far as offensive - I like the classic artists (have 3 Boris pieces on my wall and enjoy pinup art) but I also wince at the chain mail bikinis - unless they make fun of the men in the same piece. My warrior women prints are true warriors wearing full armor ... and you get the impression that you don't want to tick them off either looking at their faces.

As far as the registration - if you coordinate with the game store or your local rep - get either cards to hand out for them to register later, or take a laptop / see if the store has an extra PC for the players to register then & there - my little laptop has seen so many registrations on some game nights... so many....

We just got Austin going - were expecting maybe 10 players.. ended up with at least 25 and 2 of the players volunteered to run the extra tables. Yay for meetup getting the word out 3 days in advance!!

Oh yeah - that alley was great... until the clerics on both sides kept rolling 2's to hit each other. The longest, least effective 1st level combat I've ever seen. All I know is that my dice I used for GMing better be rolling sweet this weekend when I play... or they are facing a melting!

I found 4E was a simplified version of Champions/Heroes. The simplification is that the bundles are already prepared and, unlike 3rd ed Champions, you don't have to have mathematic formulas memorized for character creation. I'm just upset with them because they said that they were not going to do a gazillion supplements. And here we are....

We noted tonight at the game, that the Alter Self spell notes if you take a medium size shape you get +2 STR. Which is pretty silly if you are already a medium size creature. Thoughts? comments? correction to rules?

There is a similar issue with small size gaining DEX.

Should this not apply ONLY if changing size?
