Grand Lodge

It's PFS, but he's only been played once at 1st level and his additional levels have all been GM credits, so he's pretty free to do anything at this point until I play him at a Con this weekend.

Love the Sacred Huntsmaster concept. I think gaining a furry meatshield is a good tradeoff for a judgement. Adds a dimension I hadn't considered and it can easily be worked into his backstory. Then I can put some focus into some arcane ability and employ him as a spell caster.

I use a crossbow instead of a longbow because He's also a weakling. His focus is on WIS, followed by INT, DEX, and CON in that order. I don't apologize for taking him down a completely different path than the killer most want in Inquisitor to be. Socially he's a beast and it's been a cake walk through tedious information gathering parts of adventures. Even gets lots of extra help in advice and resources. It's fun to be able to talk most anybody into anything. Especially for a follower of Cayden Cailean who just wants everybody to have a good time.

I have also thought about multiclassing him at 4th with Wizard. He's Intelligent enough to pull it off for a few levels. Then he can have access to Mage Armor since he's kind of soft and then have some choice wands.

One more thought. I just leveled him to 3rd ad haven't played him there yet so I have leeway in his 3rd level feat option. I've taken Precise Shot for now. Is there a feat similar to Wisdom in the Flesh that will allow me to trade out a Charisma Skill for Wisdom? That would allow me to continue to stack on that ability and at least get me 10-14 again in use Magic Device to make it less risky to use.

I'm taking one for the team in creating a human Inquisitor that's completely skewed towards social skills. At third level he's 10-14 in Bluff, Intimidate, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival. Did this by making him high wisdom and using traits, his inquisition and feats to shift many skills including these off of Charisma to Wisdom and buff them. Basically he's an unappealing drunkard that you can't resist once he opens his mouth. Any time I see spy, negotiate, gather information, or find out in a mission description, I pull him out.

Here's the question. He's weak in attack capabilities. Only +4 with a light crossbow. I had come across a Wand of Scorching Ray and got wide-eyed until I remembered that's an Arcane item. With Charisma ending up being a dump ability for him, his Use Magic Device would be pathetic. Is there a Rod or Wand of similar power that he might be able to wield as an offensive item. I might even be happy if there was an item he could use that would simply handicap the enemy and/or buff the party every time. I'm just stuck in this spot and looking for ideas please.
