I'm a Monk whose campaign is dying... What do I do? I really like everyone in the campaign...
Male Human Monk/1
*Cough Cough*
"Take this!"
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Flurry of Blows

Male Human Monk/1
The Teifling is wanting a fight, so Bois is giving it to him... in the form of a natural 1.
Male Human Monk/1
Who are we fighting exactly? I think I missed that part. Oh, well.
Bois Guilbert moves over to the closest one and strikes at it with a fist attack.
Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Are we doing fumbles?
Male Human Monk/1
... I'd like ice cream...
Male Human Monk/1
Male Human Monk/1
"What makes them so special? Oh, I'll tell you what makes them special... They picked the Main Characters of the story to be their guides! That's what makes them special. Shows what this mysterous voice knows."
Male Human Monk/1
Bois Guilbert silently watches Summer handle the situation.
Male Human Monk/1
"One moment, Summer." Bois Guilbert says as he hurries back.
"Come with us" Bois Guilbert says to Valerie and the Dwarves. He then walks over to Summer again.
Male Human Monk/1
Bois Guilbert will stay with Summer, because it is never a good idea to leave one man alone in foreign lands.
Male Human Monk/1
"Both directions? I'm sorry, I'm not from around here. Could you be a bit more precise?"
Male Human Monk/1
"Would you be so kind to show us to the correct street?"
Male Human Monk/1
How are we going to do combat?
Male Human Monk/1
Oh, don't worry. By the time we actually do anything in the campaign it'll be christmas time.
Male Human Monk/1
Valerie wrote: I do not wish to see needless bloodshed. You're blind, you won't see anything anyway.
Male Human Monk/1
"How's this sound: one-on-one combat. No weapons. No armor. No outside help. We win, you take us to the palace. You win, I'll leave the plane."
I'll roll for Diplomacy 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Male Human Monk/1
"What do you have in mind?"
These guys might just want to fight us... I gotta get in front. Can't let them harm the clients."
Male Human Monk/1
Bois Guilbert turns around slowly to see who asked the question.
"Yes, you wouldn't by any chance know where to look, would you?"
Male Human Monk/1
I personally don't think going back in to talk to the Tiefling is a good idea. 1) He looked like he was going to go somewhere. By the time I go back to talk to Aishara and Valerie about it, he'll be gone. 2) I burst into his house uninvited. Thats never a good thing, he might be a bit angry.
Male Human Monk/1
"That would be wise, but lets not ask the one who is in the house behind me. It looked like he was goin somewhere, and he was not friendly."
Male Human Monk/1
"Whoops! Sorry!
Bois Guilbert hops through the last gate back to where his friends are.
"Do NOT go that way."
Male Human Monk/1
Bois Guilbert nods, and walks over to the first archway. He looks up at the top of the arch, and then he looks behind him at his allies.
"Alright, lets do this."
Male Human Monk/1
"I'll stick with Aishara and Valerie. How about we start going left and meeting up back here, with the group? I don't think we'll wander too far..."
I follow the "Rule of Left" does anyone follow the "Rule of Right"?
Male Human Monk/1
Don't worry Fortis. We'll get on that arch buisness any day now!
Male Human Monk/1
"Well, that sounds nice and all, but lets make sure the people who want to go places stay back, and with a bodyguard at all times. Fortis, lets have you be on guard duty for now. Aishara and I will start opening doors. Valerie and Summer, pick one of us each and stick with us. If thats alright with everyone, that is..."
Bois Guilbert looks at all his companions and makes sure no one has any objections.
Male Human Monk/1
"Well, that is strange. You, uh, want to go in a direction in particular?"
Male Human Monk/1
Male Human Monk/1
<*Gibbsmacks Summer* Bad, Bad Summer!>
"Summer, those words are very harsh and you should probably apologize."
Bois Guilbert turns to Aishara.
"I think you're pretty."
Bois Guilbert turns to Yithzak and company.
"Are any of you trained in combat, by any chance? I feel as though we may need it..."
Male Human Monk/1
"I'm going to have to agree with Valerie, here. It would be unwise for us to intrude on their buisness. Lets just see if we can get past them."
Male Human Monk/1
I don't really want to get into this, but we got to get around this... Whatever it is...
"Well thats nice to know. Does anyone want to speak to the scary people to either side of us?"
Bois Guilbert looks at his allies, mainly Aishara.
I would suppose she would be social, otherwise it would be hard to work as a waitress...
Male Human Monk/1
"I wouldn't suppose you'd know where they are, do you?"
Male Human Monk/1
Is the sky any different now than it was before?
Male Human Monk/1
"Finally. Right behind you, Summer."
Bois Guilbert quickly follows Summer. He glances back to see everyone else's reaction.
A Sorcerer? Up front? This will be interesting.
Male Human Monk/1
"Hmm."
"100sp... That's 10gp. That's enough for another shortsword."
Male Human Monk/1
Bois arrives at a usual time, with the exact same outfit and gear he was wearing in the cafe. He quietly hums a tune forgotten by most, but still catchy.
"What a beautiful day!" Bois says as he walks up to his friends.
Later, when the Dwarves are talking to the party.
"That would be true. I am the one they call Bois Guilbert. It is a pleasure to meet you." With his arm folded across his chest and the other strait down his side, he gives the Dwarves a quick bow.
Male Human Monk/1
After walking halfway to the door, Bois stops dead in his tracks, turns around, and walks back to the table.
"I knew I was forgetting something. Thank you, Miss Aishara."
Bois rummages through his pockets and puts 5 Gold coins on the table.
"This should be more than enough for me and my friends. Please, rest up and have a nice day.
Male Human Monk/1
"I will await eagerly, but patiently."
As Bois says this, he finishes his drink, stands up, bows, and then starts to head out the door.
Alright, We have Fortis, Summer, Aishara, and Valerie. Gotta remember those names.
A quick nod after a pause, and Bois heads out the door.
Male Human Monk/1
"I would be more than happy to accept Lady Aishara into the party. Would you be able to excuse her from work?
Bois leans back into his chair, and quietly awaits for an answer.
Male Human Monk/1
"I shall do it. If none will follow, I will do it myself."
Bois' bold words startle himself, but he feels that this will give him good favor with people from the Fire Plane.
Male Human Monk/1
Male Human Monk/1
I will probably not be on for a while, or not posting quite so actively. I'm moving to Maryland, ya see.
Male Human Monk/1
Did it take you that long to figure out that joke? :)
"Thank you, Aishara. What do you wish to discuss with us, sir?"
Bois' eyes glance around the room to see if anyone else is paying any attention to what Akbar is saying.
Male Human Monk/1
Bois Guilbert waits silently for the man to come to him.
Male Human Monk/1
"While my friends are chatting, I will listen to your buisness proposition. You are the one they call Akbar, right?"
Bois begins to focus on the nicely dressed man, but occasionally glances back to see if his newly made friends are paying attention.
Male Human Monk/1
Bois stits still, stays quiet, and surveys the surrounding people.
"I find it strange, my dear. It would appear that you cannot see too well. Would you like some assistance?
Male Human Monk/1
I suppose we could wait for our Friendly Neighborhood Ranger...
Male Human Monk/1
Maybe he's eating? Or perhaps Sleeping.
Male Human Monk/1
"I am an Elementalist. I use the elements as offensive weapons. What about you? How do you fight?"
Glancing at the newest person to walk up to his general vacinity, Bois thinks to himself I'd like to see her serve the drinks around here. After realizing what he just thought, Bois thinks Well, that's not a good thought to think of for a stranger...
Male Human Monk/1
"Think nothing of it. It was nice to meet you. And you may be right. This place does have such a reputation for attracting sellswords, cutthroats, mercenairies, and... uh... us, apperently."
Bois Guilbert looks at his drink and realizes he already finished it.
