Male Human Innkeeper

Before you leave the Green Tree Inn, Bob brings you a platter of freshly roasted meat and vegetables.

"You all be careful, now, you hear? And, if Angelina's gotten herself into any trouble, you get her out of it, alright?"

Male Human Innkeeper

Inn Guardians:

Bob looks somewhat curious at Poterol's mention of a guardian angel and dreams, but then focuses on Shyness' comment.

"I don't think I'll be getting much rest tonight."

He glances around, tensing at each slight creak in the floorboards caused by Shyness' pacing.

Male Human Innkeeper

Inn Guardians:

After the other patrons have headed upstairs or to their homes, Bob Treekeep, himself awake, fully dressed, armed with a knife, and tense, notices your vigil. He heads over to speak to the three of you.

"I appreciate your keepin' watch. Is there anything else we can do? Who do you suppose is behind all this?"

Male Human Innkeeper

Bob turns to Eli, Aeryth, and Sister Azmaria.

"I'll stay here with Max for a bit. You three can head on about your business. It sounds like you've got a bunch of preparations to make. If you get back to the Green Tree Inn before I do, please remind Alice about the bells and nets, and tell her about the flour thing. I'll give Max those suggestions, too. And, I'll be home before nightfall."

Male Human Innkeeper

"Well, uh, you see, Max... These here folks have some real bad news."

Bob's eyes shift to Sister Azmaria, Aeryth, and Eli, hoping that one of them will update Max...

Male Human Innkeeper

"I know where Max's shop is. He replaced my counters for me just last month."

Male Human Innkeeper

"Don't you remember, Sir, when we had that... Uh... 'fire problem' a few years back... Angelina's the one who saved us... I told you all about it..."

Male Human Innkeeper

"They're good people trying to help. Angelina sent them."

Male Human Innkeeper

"So, there's a whole army of these things going around destroying towns? And Vigilant might be next?"

Male Human Innkeeper

"Hey, there, Father Peter. These here folks have somethin' real important to talk to you about. They're not from around here, but they're friends of Angelina, an' I trust 'em."

Male Human Innkeeper

Bob nods, locks the door behind you, and leads you all down the alleyway behind the Inn, which also happens to run behind the stables.

Does anyone ask him to wait a moment and stop in the stables to update Sister Az and the others guarding?

Male Human Innkeeper

Bob nods, squeezes Alice's shoulder, and straps a knife on his belt before ushering you out the back door.

Male Human Innkeeper

"Here."

Bob hands his spatula to Alice, wipes his hands on his apron, then pulls that off and hands it to Alice, too.

"Alice, make sure the meat doesn't burn, then get the boy to see about locking the windows and watching the front door. I'll be back soon as I can."

He steps toward the back door and motions for all of you to follow him.

"I know Father Peter pretty well. I'm sure I can convince him it's important to come with us to see Captain Ronald. Are we stopping on the way to get Max?"

Male Human Innkeeper

Bob looks at Cernan and nods,

"I agree. I should be able to convince Father Peter to come with us to see Captain Ronald."

Male Human Innkeeper

Bob looks at Lesith.

"The Lord Mayor wouldn't let anything or anyone disturb him, unless you happen to be some hoity-toity noble, or the Captain of the Guard himself."

Male Human Innkeeper

"I know Max Gelthis, but, what's all this? Barbed wire and bells on the windows? What's going on?"

Male Human Innkeeper

Once you all follow Alice back into the kitchen area, you find Bob turning from the stove, wearing an apron and holding a spatula.

"What's going on?"

You don't see anyone other than Bob and Alice here now.
